Alec Sexton Poem
Thrown into the world without help
Without mercy
But with hope
The thought of heart brings on the action
of hardwork and brute strength
That will carry each man to glory
But with action comes failure
And to the worthy they will rise

Alec Sexton Poem
Purple is the color of suffocation
As Im sitting close to my inner demons
My face seems to fade into a dark shade of purple
I lost hope and was overcome with feelings of regret and sadness
But purple doesnt represent my whole existance
I have a whole palette of emotions
But when i decide to converse with the harsh voices in my head
my palette begins to fade
deep into a dark shade of purple
As i drown in self pitty and paranoia
My face seems to change
deep into a dark shade of purple
As I float on a sea of abandoned ideas
along with thoughts of salvation, my life fades
Deep into a dark shade of purple
