The Story of a Man That Won'T Be Named

First year, it was Mary,Bola and Rose
Each of them called upon my ministry of offspring-making
Ofcourse I yielded. I was like, no one knows.
All of them are good girls and none of them had snoring issues
Not one of them knew the existence of the other
All year round, our love rectangle was legendary
If Mary cried about getting all the test questions wrong
There, my jobless hands were, ready to circle around her like a snake
The rope of discordance between my legs wouldn't let her rest until it was 'done'
If Bola visited just to check on her so-called Romeo
It didn't take too long for her undies to find the ground's oreo
I'd tell myself it was normal, that love gives all anyways
Then came Rose's turn to grace my bed with her flowery scent
At my beckon, she was already at her knees, covered in sweat
Then i wondered, is that all of it?

Second year, Itunu found her way to me
At first, she seemed to ignore the heavenly presence that was me
Then our hearts collided in mystery or was it misery?
None of my friends knew why i kept taking her to the campus major eatery
She was careless with words but the view from behind her was majestic
Finally, i had found the one mama will not but approve, cause her smile was chic
I held off on my raging hormones because, well... she wanted to wait
It intrigued me so much that i promised myself not to forcefully have a taste
Then Mary showed up, demanding that i fulfil my responsibilities
Ehm, my response was "have i ever laid eyes on your genitals"?
Well, i found a little money and told her to get lost
She didn't hesitate, because she knew all was lost
There was no turning back,it was Itunu or no one else
2 days before final exams, I decided to pay my love a visit
Lo and behold, here was my Queen in all her glory with her so-called "cousin"

Since i was taught to never hit a girl
i walked out with my head bowed, wondering "what the hell!"
She didn't even try to stop me
Is this how Rose felt when she saw me with Bola?
What was i supposed to say to all my friends and my mother?
i didn't realize i was on the express, deep in thoughts
till i fell to the ground, screaming "Itunu"
i blacked out before i reached the ground
woke up in an hospital, looking like "the mummy"
they said i had slept for 2 days
meaning, i missed the final exams
they already said there were no re-dos
i had it coming so i didn't cry
Oh Itunu, you shouldn't have done this evil thing
how i wish i had listened to what mum said, that the end of a thing is better than the beginning therein.

Misguided Sparks

As you stared at me across the highway LANDING,
I couldn't help but notice you SMILING,
With all my heart, i could literally feel us BONDING,
But the essence of this SHOW, i really didn't KNOW.

Unfortunately for me, mum called my NAME.
She had noticed that i paused on a certain LANE.
As dignified as my excuse was for the sudden PAUSE,
I barely survived with some screams and a few CURSES.

Looking back, our eyes met AGAIN.
But this time, all the sparks were gone AWAY.
I realized that the fact that i had seen your SIDE-VIEW,
Didn't mean that i'd love what was in the FRONT-VIEW.
