My Favorite Pair of Sneakers

When the wind blows

When the wind blows, the lighting strikes, when heavy rain comes,I know you will be there.
There I was in my birthday suit during a crowd of people robbed of all my belongings, but you were there with me, all I had was you on my feet.
In you they saw no value, they saw no quality only quantity.
You are my favourite pair of sneakers.

I walk in you, I run in you,I play in you but most of all I trust in you.
I give you access to all my assets because you give your all to me
When they look at you they see an old rag that has to be thrown away, they see stitches on the sides of your sole and they think you are useless
They don't know the feeling of being loved with no limits, the feeling of feeling protected and safe.
You are my best pair of shoes

They can take all from me,but I beg them not to take you and definitely not my poetry
You are my strength
You are my smilekeepr
You are my soul lifter
You are my poetry
You are my favourite pair of shoes.

I Don'T Anymore

I DON’T…….ANYMORE

I have grown, I have matured
My interests have changed, my mind has explored
I have felt, I have seen, I have touched and I have been
My ears have heard enough cheap gossip, enough nonsense, and enough bullshit
I do not tolerate hypocrisy anymore
I don’t…….anymore

I decided not to breathe the same air with those who live for other people anymore, those who showoff
I isolate myself from those who make small talk
Let us talk about death
Let us overthink
Let us be bold
Let us make sex the topic of our conversation
Let us talk about politics
Tell me something about science
I want to talk about atoms
I want to engage in academic conversations
I don’t do small talk anymore

As young as I am, I have been hurt, I have had pain
I do not want to be associated with those who do not give compliments, those who do not encourage, and those who do not give back
It is not arrogance, it’s just that I’ve been warned about life
I do not entertain negativity
I’ve leant life through other people’s life experiences
I was taught to choose my surroundings wisely
I no longer surround myself with disloyal friends
Friends who smile at your face but frown at your back
Friends who cry with you but lough at you later
I show no interest to those with academic arrogance
A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle
I DON’T……ANYMORE!!!

Who Is Our Great God

WHO IS OUR GREAT GOD?

I also do not know him that well, I’m still trying to recited him
But I know for sure that:
He is not an egotistical God
He is not a vanity God
He is not a conceited God
But he is a God so great that he forgives even the greatest sinners of all, you and me
He is a God of divinity
He is a God of adoration
He forgives, he heals and he loves
He is one to be complimented at all times
He is one to be flattered always
He is a corporeal God
He is ALPHA and Omega
He is our great God

I Forgive You

I forgive you

I am tired of suffocating my mind with your image,I am tired of letting you control my life
The sound of your voice is something I'll never forget but forgive
You touched me where you shouldn't have
You said something you were not supposed to say
You did things to me that no child should ever experience
I am tired of living my life focusing on you
The scent of your perfume is still fresh on my nose
I can still smell the fresh mint coming out of your mouth

But now:

I have stopped hiding my body from men
I can now walk in my panties with my brothers in the house
I now find comfort in a man's arms
I can now love a man.
