Tayla-Jade Fodera Poem
No one really has a clue,
Diving face first into everything they do.
We're all just winging it,
Sharing stories of how we survived,
Hoping someday we fulfill our purpose for being alive.
This thing called life, was not once explained.
Alone we learn, that with every lose, more is gained.
Each enduring all kinds of trials and tribulations,
Most with a head full of complications.
Since the day we are delivered at birth,
We grow to seek, why we were put on earth.
From every dark storm, continuous battles, bleeding wounds, and a shattered heart.
We must not forget, it's our differences in who we are, that uniquely sets us apart.
Only then we can truly, understand the reason why,
The advice we were given, was to always live every moment to the fullest until the day we die.

Tayla-Jade Fodera Poem
Sitting here, replaying that day you went away,
I couldn’t help but wonder,
Why all of a sudden?
Why that way?
Were you really that tired you chose to leave,
Surely you would have known, forever we’d grieve
It’s not fair, we can no longer see you or talk to you
There are so many things we never got the chance to say or do
Was it your intentions, to give up and end it all
Did you really want to be knocking at God’s front door
Did you wish to be free from all the suffering you dealt with inside
Was it so painful you could no longer hide
Now all we have are memories and that after our wait,
We will meet you again at heavens gate.
