It burns to be felt
To be heard
Like a moth to a flame
It calls out to you.
For some it's the beginning of something new
For others it's a dead end
Pieces of yourself you give
Only to get nothing in return
Desire
It burns to be heard

Just like fire
Just one touch
Not too close
You might get burnt
For only a second of desire
It burns to be felt

Shanja Plains Poem
Time goes by,
Like a title wave,
Losing hope,
But there's always a price to pay.
The vows that lovers say,
Only to be broken the next day,
When will you realize,
That you have to cut all ties.
Anything that binds you,
Trying to keep you quite,
But always remains out of sight,
Only to return at night.
Demons we try to hide,
Always fight back,
Waiting for you to attack,
Wanting you to come on the dark side.
Hide Away,
Finding anything to make the pain dissipate,
Only to be criticized,
As time flies by.
