Sadness In My Heart

Tears that I cry
Is from the pain inside
Where should I hide?
Because it hurts to cry

When I think of my mom
I know that she’s gone
She was the beat in my heart
To help me carry on

Laughs are at times bitter
Not full of joyful expressions
Mind full of fire and rage
That exists in my hearts suppression

I don’t wish to die
But there’s a scar
Something eternal
To what makes my heart cry

It may be the past
That brings back painful memories
All the mistakes that I’ve made
Is my heart suffering the penalty?

I truly desire a better life
For my family and I
To grow closer through love
To reach for heaven in the sky

But times my heart is sad
Some days I cry
I wish I could know this pain
Can anyone tell me why?

No Love On the Battlefield

Words of missiles
Blows from cannons
Swords in tongues
We had withdrawn apart

Unspoken strategies
Mind of mines
Stealth attacks
Against one another’s heart

Gunshot smoke becomes the aroma
Of the atmosphere amongst us
Causalities in our bloodshed
Dormant our affectionate love

Love cannot survive in warfare
We shield our warm center graze
Cause of damage internally praised
By the open hand grenades

Blind to see our adversary
his annihilation in vengeance
Precious life dying before sunrise
No waving flags in distance

Time sails swiftly
Duo soldiers still at war
No arsenal, no ammunition
Peace constantly ignored

Clinch with knives
Till one is killed
Love must die to survive
On this insensible battlefield

Nightfall Inside Caves

The plummet of my soul
Creates life in graves
Tragic moments erupts unexpected
Inside the mind of caves
You hear the atmosphere blindly
Not a sure of the whistling growls
Fear similar to a child
From the echo howls
His child-bearer taken from life
Left naked in vulnerability
The serpent slithers its way
From the dark corners of this cave
his divine tasteful nature
Clothes the coldness inside
Temperature decompresses
The fruit of Love to arise
With no one here
To console this fear
Sin sits near
Hiding in blissful cheer
I plow below in curiosity
Reveal the presence that’s bare
Who arrived boldly?
In trial to propose fresh air
Receive openly and unaware
Creatures were conceived within
Misery accompanied secretly
For rain of tribulations to begin

Eye See the Day

Nights have been dark
Days have been dim
My vision became apart,
Of the poisoned root & blemishing stem
Now the wool has set
And I can finally be
A radiant child to God’s eyes
Because there’s a brighter day I can see
I see a vast season of bliss
Sunlight of new growth
Old attitudes will whither
Rain of new seeds will soak
Clouds of pain will migrate
For I now see the sky
New life soars through my heart
All peril life is sure to die
No longer am I blind
To what God has in store for me
I shall receive with sincerity
And look forward to the day I see

Serpent With Wings

Gentleness worn as a fine coat
Scriptures flatters her divine quotes

Softness appears like freshly water
Only to lure the prey and kill harder

Smooth whispers wraps your focus
Fangs of destruction becomes unnoticed

Her scales will camouflage in tears
The slither sounds are deaf to weak ears

Conversations will hypnotize the heart
Gravitate the feelings of love out from dark

Suppress the truth with an appetite of hunger
Deceived by the beauty of lust that has no slumber

Blind to the wicked plans by selfish desires
Vulnerable internal pain is what she ignites higher

Suffocates life from within and portray Gods mercy
Only to repeat the grip and inject venom as the heart dissolves

Be aware of her pretty complexion because you'll miss her snake eye

As she drifts away with an handful of gain her heart will smile when you die

I Wonder

I wake in a world of uncertainty
The mind ponders its way
Striving for answers
That left my heart dismayed

Clues were never trailed
For my wonders to be unveiled
The hearts condition is frail
To Loves affections in detail

Look past the sky
May my answers lay there?
To what complicates this storm
For death to arise unfair

Painful Mirage

You came in like a shooting star during noon
Nothing could stop the law of attraction
The strength of your presence lowered the walls
Slowly I embraced the blessing of a friend
Every step I risked my heart for pain
Every breath was life I instilled
The time I gave was a gift I could never return
I fell asleep with the thought of companionship
Only to arise alone with my chest dripping blood
How does love speak so loud and still feel the silence?
My vision has to be telling me a lie
Because here you are with invisible hands
My chest aches from the separation that the knife revealed
My expression captures your emotions
I reach out and my hands held hands with air
You slowly began to fade
My heart still connected to the blade
Love was a mirage but the pain was real
I guess my love was the cost of accepting an eternal pain
