Gul Hassan Kakar Poem
It was the darkest night I had ever seen
The stars looked like jewels in princess’s crown
The cool breeze stroked the leaves, making noise
Moths hovered around candle light wildly
My arm around her back holding her tenderly
I was scared to look into her eyes
praying to God, fearing the worse
she turned her face towards me
She looked into my eyes, her gaze distant
She remained silent till I freaked
Silent tears rolled off of her eyes
Tear drops on her face looked like dew on tulip Petal
In this awful silence I felt like dying many times
"I am leaving you", said she at last
Forgive me please, she sobbed
I couldn’t speak
She got up and stepped away slowly
I couldn’t say a word to stop her
In love, time comes when nothing makes a difference

Gul Hassan Kakar Poem
Rain, a rainy day again
In that scorched land
Passions have burnt it.
What is keeping it alive?
Rain, an those rainy days
Poured down from our eyes.

Gul Hassan Kakar Poem
In Doom, two eyes
Stares constantly
Let not open
The Door of Tomb
Lest the wind shall pass
Through those eyes
Let not anyone
Drink two drops o’ water
Till the dust settles
Let not anyone
Have two piece o’ bread
Till it’s all bright
In Doom two eyes
Stares constantly.
