Tear Drop

Amidst the crowds I feel alone,
In their joys I see myself drown, Their voices seem to echoes my voices,
The voices in my head growing louder.

All goes dim before my own eyes,
My mind opens up and in it clears,
Flashes of my past getting a new form,
All that I fear now stare right into me.

Her screams are more vivid,
Our silly laughs reign in the rain,
In the dark I was oblivious to her tears,
But now even the smell of her blood I remember.

To the night's events I'm a captive,
My guilt and conscious actively now awake,
To let go of her fragile petite frame I couldn't,
To let go of the memories now I can't.

Yes to the crowds I'm a free soul,
Deep within I'm still enslaved in the moment,
When my freedom was superior to hers,
And with my hard body I took her innocence.

Like a raged buffalo I attacked her,
As a poor church mouse I cared less,
Now like a shamed puppy my tail is between my legs,
And louder her screams still play on repeat in my head.
