Suicide Note

Give me fire give me blaze,
Those who live by the sword shall die by the blade,
Caged in a mind so evil filled with hatred and blame,
The wounds healed but the scares remained
A constant reminder of a past lived as an out cast,
Suicidal thoughts grew in his head like a tumour ,
A permanent solution to end his life of misery after years of searching he realised the pain never left like the right hand and all hope was now in a hoovering draculin sword above his head with no escape,
His conscience pleaded with his emotions they was still time for change like the coins in his hand were once a note,
Suicide was never an option those were the words in his mind as he regained consciousness from this dream.

A Letter To My Father

I only see you when i close my eyes, you come to life in my sleep you live in my dreams/
I hope you remember my face cause i forget its 18 years and am still counting ,97 your heart stopped beating yet am a 95 kid only got two years of your time /
You never got the chance to see me take my first steps ,skip lessons and then lie to your face/
If it was God's plan the giver of life and the air we breath who are to question his decision /
Life is not fair and so is man, i have learnt to live with the pain visit the graveyard each time i want to speak with you/
Dear dad i have heard so many stories about you most good but i don't know how true/
I have heard them say you were tall ,handsome,free-spirited ,accommodating and always had a way with the ladies just like me/
And your friends told me you were fun to hang around with , your sisters my aunties always say i remind them of you each time i visit but your father my grandfather used to say you live in me/
Dear father am you son the one you never got the chance to raise /
I am that toddler you were holding close to your chest in that black and white picture that's still hanging on the wall /
I am your son, the oldest grandson in family the one who will carry on the family name when no no else can/
I am your blood ,your flesh,your son/
I am writing this letter addressed to your place of permanent rest which is your grave, father i wont lie to you but things have greatly change since 97 we moved from a cross country and now stays in the City Of Kings /
Your pension money have been of great help but now it cant even by me the pizza am craving /
A times i wish i could light a cigarette and just vanish with the smoke but the highs leave me feeling low and the lows keep demanding for more/
I wont tell you about the dead cause by now you have already meet them i will tell you about your daughter my sister she got married a few years and now she expecting as much as you are about to be a grandfather am about to be an uncle it sounds crazy but am greatly humbled/
I wish i could write to you in detail about my first heart break but it always leave me with a headache/
I know you left when i couldn't hold this pen to shape letters forming words interlocking into similes and metaphors but am a Poet now and love what i do/
S dear dad reserve a seat for me next to yours cause in due time i will follow/
Yours Reminiscing son.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD.
