Tanya Stamos Poem
Children bring smiles to the world every day
Pure in heart, they mean no wrong
We say we love them, but sacrifice their happiness to my dismay
A child’s heart sings the most beautiful song
They are leant to us from up above
My God, look at the precious gifts He has given us
Their spirits soar high and free like a dove
They hold tightly to our hands for love and trust
Kids always see our flaws
It’s up to us to show them the right path
Although life never gives us a pause
They need to learn God is love and to fear His wrath
We hold the key to our children’s hearts.
It is time for us to get smart.

Tanya Stamos Poem
For my brother’s and sister’s that have gone before us and have fallen,
You gave the ultimate sacrifice,
The sight never let my mind when I saw it come back with bullet holes that night
It all seemed so real then
What were we doing, defending or just killing,
It is a pain I’ve never had
My heart bleeds red white and blue
I will always stand true and proud
To this country I defend to the end.

Tanya Stamos Poem
Child of God
I am a child of God
Saved by God’s grace
Redeemed by the blood He shed
I am a sinner
Lived carelessly without fear of consequences
Only to see my children suffer
I am set free
All the hurt and pain has been washed away
The chains have been broken
I have forgiven myself
I am a student and a teacher
Learning God’s word everyday
Teaching my children the Bible
Being a disciple of Christ at all times
I am baptized
Sharing to the world that I am His
Born again to him and not of worldly things
I am a child of God
Renewed by His love, hand in hand
My heart beats only for him
