Friendship

Friendship

The definition of friendship
 though different for a few
I define my thoughts of friendship
in this poem I write for you!

I never thought of gather
as a man -club or hunting -ground
I wasn't searching for a single soul.
but it's you, that I have found....

Now that I found you...I just wanted to show
That your friendship means so much to me
far more than you could know

I had forgotten how to smile,
I had forgotten how to laugh,
I had forgotten how to open my heart
I had been haunted by my past

I was overwhelmed by life...
never stopping to have fun...
it just wasn't there you see.
but for some reason... your the one

Since I have found you...
you've been a constant breath of fresh air
I smile again and laugh again...
you've some how inspired me to care..

You may be across the ocean, on an island far away
but when we talk and laugh and joke
we never run out of things to say..

Photography, and writing
The list keeps getting longer
your friendship somehow, has helped me..
to see and feel.. that I am so much stronger..

I get excited when I see you on
I have so many things to ask..
I know you sometimes get pissed at me,
I know I am a pain the ass....

I am thankful for your friendship
in each and every way
you have a delightful personality
what else am I to say?

"Tina time" I look forward to
each and every night
Our friendship is unique
somehow.. it just seems right

Wondering what today will bring ..
what feelings we will share.
The dreams we have.. our Ideas
its nice to have someone care..

To take up offence when your feeling bad
at someone who has wronged you
To be your friend when times are rough
to make you smile when you are sad

It seems so silly on just a machine
How someone can reach you...
become your friend and share so much
 how friendships become so true...

Thank you! Trev
