The Nature's Cry

Do we blame God?
The environment was once cool
Cool enough for our good
Till industrialisation brought its mud

Growth improved, thanks to technology
Mechanisation took over all
Our thoughts, activities and mall
Yet, it's long run effect, unknown and dodgy.

Each industrial revolution brought degradation
Rising temperatures and heat ascending
Water table rising with increased flooding
We have been enslaved by our inventions.

This isn't a case for underdevelopment
Naa, it's a cry to stand and stall
Refuse all hyper-carbon's crawl
Else the heat grows in instalment

The earth, fishes and greens crying
A brief stop, they plead, would help
Break the carbon chain as one step;
See mother nature return, smiling.

Just For the Truth

I stand in awe of the Truth
I live for it and not for a feat
It keeps me and helps me stay put
I loathe lies just to be fit.

Everyday our lives speak
Unknown to us but something is declared,
Whether gracefully as meek
Or derogatorily as tares, I fear.

Yet its concern is on our message
Do we proclaim His grace,
Propagate His word in this age,
Or just grope around lost in the maze?

So I stand bold to shout it out loud
We can do nothing against the Truth
He stays true and is revealed like the cloud
Coming to us in droplets of rain or dew
