Tame From Pain

When I tried she filled with pride, when I cried she just sighed. When I used she refused to let me inside. When I was clean it was a dream, or at least that's how it should have been. Instead I went unnoticed taking when no one was focused, it got me through the day and prepared me for when it was time to play. For years I suffered as people complained when the internet buffered. Then a light shone through and I found you. The pain made me tame and when you came I realised I was never to blame.

Fear

You try to control me and I don't know how to resist, you make me feel small so I have no way to exist. I am but miniscule in this world we live, my life worth nothing in the grand scheme of things. All this hatred and all this fear so pointless and unnecessary but lasting for years. Tell me now what do I do? How do I escape? Is there a way to make my way back? Will I ever be free or am I trapped?

I Am What I Am

I can't be weak because life is a little bit bleak, I don't break when someone says I'm fake.
I am what I am.
I'm not ashamed to say I'm not the same and I won't run scared because I lost someone who cared.
I am what I am.
I shouldn't and wouldn't pretend to be something I'm not because if you hate me for what I'm not and like me only for what I have got then you can continue to rot.
I am what I am
But what am I? Who am I?
Am I am fighter? Or am I a writer?
Am I a know it all? Or am I a poet standing tall?
 Who knows? What knows?
I don't know...
I know a label I am not, but am I a who or a what?
 Who knows? What knows?
I don't know...
I am what I am
