Moment

Sometimes randomly out of nowhere you see some of the worlds most beautiful features. Like a mama bird feeding her young, the sun setting over a hill. Or simply seeing an act of kindness. These moments are important, where all we must do is smile and remember not all is bad. You may have very little moments, or you may have a lot. No matter how many or how few you must cherish them because you never know what may come next. These moments give me hope, and they should give you hope too.

Being

Sitting, watching, listening, but not speaking, not moving, only taking in what is occurring around you. That is what it does to you. It makes you question your opinion and your existence. Waiting, breathing, beating, but not feeling, not sad nor happy, just that, being. Being the person you never thought you would become. The person that sits, listens, watches, learns, but doesn't participate because of the slight fear of being judged, of being questioned and not knowing the exact way of explaining. Not knowing whether or not they actually care or if they are trying to break you. But the do not know that you are already broken. Broken to the point of not being fixed. The point of just being, not living. Being.

Sounds

Tapping, creaking, sniffling, breathing, sighing, all sounds you will notice when you are being. Sounds that are annoying to others but are soothing to you, soothing because its an example of what it is like to actually be living. The things I would do just for the slight chance of not just being but living. Happiness is not a choice, it is an emotion; an emotion that not everyone can feel. Not everyone gets the joy of life. The feelings that no longer flood her heart. No longer does the smile a true smile, laugh a true laugh; its all just an allusion. An allusion that will fool you to believe she is okay, but in all reality she isn't okay, she is gone.

Facing the Fear of Feeling

It's a terrible feeling
you know?
Watching someone you love
slowly disappear
progressively getting worse
and when you try to be there
they tell you everything will be okay
but you just have this feeling
this time
she isn't gunna make it
she has been lucky to live
as long as she has
This time could be it
I'm gunna be there
because this feeling is real.
This feeling is scary but you cant always
run from what scares you.
Face it. Be there. Before its too late.

Change

My dreams turned into nightmares
My nightmares to reality
My sun to darkness
My smile to tears
My laugh to sobs
My skin to scars
And I myself have become someone I don't know.

A Time Warp

Morning night, Morning night
I'm not sure if I will ever win this fight
1234
I feel as if I have lived this life many times before
"come on it will be fun"
with what friends I have none
air in air out
and don't ever pout
everyday if like a time warp
a constant loop
until the day I tie the rope
and take one last step
with your pcture kept forever in my heart
because life is a story and that's my part

Dark

Dark hair
Dark cloths
Dark eyes
Dark soul
Everything she had is dark
because no matter what she is invisible
invisible to her class
to her "friends"
to her family
even to herself
Her feelings don't matter
Her opinions don't count
because to them she is nothing
just like the color black
Her smile has faded
Her laugh is not heard
Her voice soft
and eyes swollen
She cries
She cuts
She burns
She purges
her new home is the bathroom
and best friend a blade
all because a blade hurts less than the words they speak
because maybe someday they will notice her again
Maybe just maybe
She wont give up after all.
