On Ebony Sails

Oh what a tangled web we weave,
ever haunting in devious wombs...
tattered voyagers embarking to the confine,
and by nightfall, swarthy leather pants
whip and crack like the white flag
blowing and tearing in a cold snap.

On ebony sails the ravens are perched,
pecking at threads that dangle
from dusky cloths which follow
a foreboding path among the charcoal seas,
with only a pale, crescent moon to light the way.

Heavy weighted winds we will travel;
with no need cast anchor to rest, for
even under the darkest of starless skies
we will navigate through any storm.

Whirlwinds of ships
encircle endlessly in a carousel of waves,
each riding their horses in a cynical unison,
Captain yell fire, seize fire, aim... and fire again.

On the ashen deck the posts are split,
the ocean floor reverberating while
fingers trace softly around her lips,
saturated in sweat and tears... hope, and fear.

In our time we've marked our authority,
through scorching suns and frigid blizzards...
on ebony sails we headway forever
to our home beyond the sea...

The Path We Walk Along

Paving a road of two identities
will anoint figure to stained air

Fabricating a path to completion
will unify abstraction with muse

Engraving a dream into reality
will create bliss in one soul

Carving chaste into immoral clay
will embellish tints of whim and choice

Inventing verity inside of one man
will adjust the balance of all.

Divine Kisses

Stars intertwine to heal the calloused moon,
He ceased all poisoning ink within my coiling flutter.
Replenished naked air in nature's swelling aroma,
Oh, I swoon through infinite waves on white crest.
Trundle illusion collects his faint respiration
Where I may cradle his undying breath.
To kiss cantlets of pink efflorescence;
His heart... blooms extractions of delicate flora.
Spherical elation will bestow us to excelling waterfalls
On utopias of cotton clovers, swaying in descending peace.

Blue Snowflakes

Sapphire aspects
lapse beside the window,
which plummet onto a surface
of what may be untouchable

Icicle tears dissipate slowly
behind suspended doors of heartache,
in which his mind falls faster;
he cannot relinquish lurid oppression

Rapidly descending,
perception wanes in sultry winterkill;
his hands are numb... and tattered.

Only sacrificing his innocence to
prove what warmth he needs,
he bled to show existence
he decayed within humble intervals

Counting, shaking, questioning...
his heart remains an icebound light,
ever immobilized, denied essential freedom

Blue snowflakes fall like justified requiem,
sculpting unconditional fever to break this floe
to melt away the permafrost, sleet is cascading
from glare crust to a newfound beating

Run... amble to the unfrozen waters
Wait... halt duration and consume animation
Perceive... contemplate divine abilities
Believe... that I will be right there waiting...

Ruinous Remedy

Cold friction blinds the weak
when pallid hands clench tight
to volatile liquids that
evaporate rapidly

One's body passes off readily
like acetone drops
wading in poisoned waters
and venom solvent drains
putrid addiction,
I purge out duration
in each dying breath

Obsession with an
enslavement to kill,
to run out of ideas
to fail in recovery,
because of fatal substances
replacing the natural mind,
depriving it from oxygen

I lose all with one hit
with one injection,
with one overdose,
consuming all narcotics
to forget the past
and erase any future
with no antidote or cure

I will subside
in unconscious render
to forgive any;
even myself.

In My Sea of Green

Here I melt under myself
with only time resting on
a bubbly surface of dreams

I float on clouds of emerald,
hovering up to the welkins;
they're calling me,
I know it's time to go...

Here I lay beside myself
watching, anxious for discovery,
for acceptance elsewhere;
away from duration

Incandescence glows like
multi-colored rays of moonlight
beaming down, and I rest peacefully
in my sea of green

I know it's time to go home

Sallow Chaos

Pulchritudinous attraction
withered away to solemn dirt
lining frail and delicate desperation
which fell deep into the wrath
of melody's storm.

Tangled frames exist only
within a carmine horizon;
a ghost of skeletal cartilage
trapped in a shell to suffocate -
struggling in endless writhe.

Shimmer glaze will rust
all nerve, depleting the stem
of a thousand gutted flowers,
yet still tangible to amethyst shadows.

Lost in an electric twine,
dissipated into a funnel of oceans
where only sounds of quiet voices
surround threads of silence.

Guardian Tree

Russet textures expand
through a maze of rough lining,
composing a song softer than
the winds of the river

Leaves of fading colors
arise within the current
waving their last goodbyes
with an incessant spiral

Tears pour down from
melancholy storms
saturating quickly into
pastel branches,
peeling off a shell
of bitter aversion
and irrational fear

Each bead of pride falling,
cascading her to nakedness
showing only true vicinities
behind that forcefield of
the withering decay
where lucid liquids run dry
contemplating hollow thoughts

She weeps in the heart
of faint horizons ~
recklessly drowning
in a sea of calloused wonder

Will she ever bloom
into a brand new beam
of effervescent light -

Or follow the black
into a lonely path
of no escape?

B L a C K

Barren luster
cotton breeze
  phosphorescence
    misty seas

Lucid splendor
breathing calm
  Sunday apex
    sweaty palm

Arid heart
wet disease
  fallen hard
    slight increase

Callous taste
naked steam
  ever beating
    broken seam

Kindle existence
blank fixation
  torrid matter
    last temptation

Woman

Woman

Expressions escape you,
never bound or similar~

Your identity changes
only in time, like flowers in
a never-ending meadow of dreams.

Woman

Each heart beating in
different earth tones,
and your hands unify
the melodies of your soul.

Skin so delicate like
fresh powdered snow and cocoa
gracefully painting each
curve of your being.

Woman

We are all stars
that shine aloft the world
watching, waiting ~

Mother Moon has kept
us safe from harm,
and we help complete
atmospheric serenity.

Woman

Your eyes all contrasting~
Each strand of hair;
their own shade
and each smile varied,
but radiant.

Woman,

any woman -

Beautiful woman;
every woman.
