Elcana Oteki Poem
I had people who feigned friendship…..
I had people, who never loved me,
I had people, who opposed my views always,
And all these are around me.
I had people who were rogue…….
I had people who wanted love;
But when I proposed, they trampled on it.
I had people, who were bereaved,
But when I offered a hand they scorned me.
And all these count on my success.
I had people who’d blunt skills……
I had people, who were buddies,
But when I asked for help, they barked at me.
And all these wish for my downfall to rejoice.
I had people who were troubled…..
I offered compassion,
But in return they have vengeance.
I had people stressed by love,
When I offered a way out, they called me a traitor.
And all of these are “Godly devotees”
I had people, who wanted life to be back in track,
When I gave out tips, they called them garbage,
I had people I professed my love for,
But they said am ain’t fit for them.
I had people, who I treasured,
But they least thought of the effort I used to say;
“I love you.”
And all these God takes care of them.

Elcana Oteki Poem
Puppy!
She is one of a kind
A woman of reason and love
Purely ossified and ornate
Puppy! A mother of all people
Slender but not much,
She’s a figure of compassion
Ready to share with others in their plights
Happiness of others is her joyful rewards
Touching every heart to burn,
and to live a new life
Puppy! Changing even the iconoclasts
She feels and wipes away tears
She has the beautiful face that,
that encompasses wisdom and knowledge
Ridges may exist, but his love levels them,
Wonders may cease, but she cannot forget others
Puppy! a woman to be revered
She is an impetus for every help
An angelic apostale
A mother of unfathomed help
A helper for the burdened,
and a tower of hope for the less fortunate
A light for the depressed and,
A source of strength for the weak
Puppy! the stature of mercy
In me she is always present
She’s a reflection of joy
The sparkles of the light
The twinkling stars and,
A surgeon of the heart
Puppy! a magical touch of love

Elcana Oteki Poem
It dawned on me that you had gone, long before I could fathom your character
That thawed my heart away, into a tune that cannot be stopped
A tune of generosity and happiness, Oh mother you lived a life well charmed
Gave alms and the little you had, A smile ever donned on your face
Unfortunately, you left in a dash, not to be seen again.
We have your memories, closely linked in our hearts
Like the woven linen from the willows, we cluster them dearly
But sorrow sips our nerves, to our cradles we fall
For your presence savored our fear, that was too palpable
Even in death, your precepts shall abide with us
So that our sojourn can be a harbor for all
I feel like making a sonata, for us to be connected in a glance
Here you have left us in limbo, with moments of despair
Oh death you are so cruel
Heaven is your new home, we will meet someday
Hope you are watching over us and I will not fear again
For your life’s reflection strengthens me, till the crow of the night fades
I shall feel you close in my heart
For Jesus wipes away our tears as your family

Elcana Oteki Poem
The cool waters of the stream
Whistling down the dark valley
Birds singing morning glory in their melodious tunes
Monkeys doing a jig to the beats
Trees whispering slowly to each other
That is the morning of back then
Flowers smiling to each other
As the frogs do the question and answer session
The crickets were fine tuning their flutes
The calm wind reigned to the sap
Like the forested hills watched each other’s back
And when the birds could wake us up
That’s no more
Now the birds are singing dirges
Rivers are wailing loud to be heard
Trees aren’t whispering no more but mourning
For someone is baying for their blood
And their friends have gone too soon
Please spare them a little
So that we may be greeted by smiling flowers in the morn
And seen out with the fine whispers of trees
Instead of the scorching sun’s gaze
And a lamenting air’s stench
This is how hard it is to feel it
And perhaps we could say farewells in pouring rain
Accompanied with humming birds’ melodies

Elcana Oteki Poem
Let me take a little sip of your ossified beauty
Listen to your moans at night
With the buccals yearning for each other
Pour ice in the glass in nibbles
How I long to breathe your scent always
Happy birthday once more
So smooth,so sweet and silvery is your voice
That the silky whales cannot defy
I have seen dawn and sunset on moors and dark valleys
But none surpasses your beauty in tulips
Let the ripples of your love be felt
You have added another one
May the morning's ripe air unfold your mystery
Bite the berries by the tips
As your lips shineth against the light
For I have never seen you smile for a dime
May your spirit reach new heights and free like the butterfly
Life is queer with its twists but don't quit
Live with the beauty like you never had
Another one is coming
You are felt through the milky ways
May the hearts that you touch be adored
And forget the stares upon you
Let this day bring you joy and laughter
And keep them flying in fours
As you soar to new heights
Follow the bumpy trail and dwindle to a new beggining
Happy birthday

Elcana Oteki Poem
I wonder if you know,
How special you are,
I wonder if you know,
How precious you are,
I wonder if you,
How lucky i'll be to have you in my life.
I love you so much!!!
on each silent night,
I meet you in my lovely dreams,
I hold you in my longing arms,
And as the morning unfolds,
Its soft and dreamy petals,
I wake up longing for you,
I find you somewhere through the valleys of dew,
And deeps of love
if all this countless thoughts mean love,then;
I love you so much!!!
Like a bright sunshine on a dreary day,
Like the assuring moonlight on a murky night,
You are the joy of my life,
I'll love you till eternity and beyond.
I love you so much!!!
My dear happiness,stay in me,
To see you and feel fine,
For your spirit to give me good memories,
For i wished to be with you but distance keeps us apart,
Like a little rose i love you,
Bright morning still there waiting,
Like the stars that have twinkled far away,
But show hope,i'll be like them,
The life of spectacular events you'll find it,
Even the cyclone or the hurricane won't break my love for you,
Take me and have all for yourself,
Ready because i'm ain't tied nor you,
I love you so much!!!

Elcana Oteki Poem
Its so tough being here,
All alone.
Hurts me deep in my heart,
To be away from home.
I need you here with me,for my love is here to last,
I got myself deep in your heart,
All I need is your love.
When the night gets awry,
And you cannot win.
As the embers of fury,
Start fading out
You will have me by your side,
And am going to embrace you
When desolation strikes I will stand by you.
And when I get down to you,
Then I will be still as the wind.
Oh my!
Give me love.
Make me hunger and long for you,
Thirst for your love like a deer for the cool waters,
And hold my hand,
Teach me your precepts
Crane my love and keep it,
And I will yours forever,
As I am used to being next to you.

Ranging through the valleys
Sighing over the hills
Galloping through the farms
That's the ambiguity of love

Elcana Oteki Poem
She had stood there, long enough for a verse
Standing at the window drowned in a world she could only see
Life had given her bitter herbs to drink
All her strength had been sucked up
She was like a lost silhouette
I could feel the lamentations, strong enough to crash a wall
She had come that evening sobbing
The sobs then turned to wailing
Passed by me only to feel the air push behind her
That could crash down a chameleon on a feeble twig
She had been touched in her soft spot
And her heart was bleeding
Her heart had been pricked the most
No kisses could sooth her,her hearts tenderness furnished
The world was too cruel for her
The spice of her life had looked her down
The one her love for him was beyond passion and transcended all ages
The one she sighed for contentedly as they kissed
And now the anger ranged in her
Bang!she locked us away and slept
Waking up early in the morn
Too icy and iffy
But she couldn't feel the cold
It was a time for her dizzy spells
I noticed a sparkle in her eyes and grinned
It was a sparkle of hatred
Now a beauty like hers was just but a curse
The twirling ice had covered her
But she was not feeling it at all
Tears pricking behind her eyes
She was now a romantic orphan
Not even a tale of the aiels could calm her
She laid down on the ice like a bear
Twisting wildly beneath the twigs, arching and tossing hands
The talons of love had marked her
I gathered her to myself
Shivering from the coldness wishing for death to swallow her
I felt haunted by my love for her as a friend
The silence was preceded by a long laughter
She had felt i cared for her
A wry smile tugged at her mouth's corners
She now could love herself nothing to send her senses again on a dizzy whirl

Elcana Oteki Poem
I remember it was during winter
When your heart sulked and withered
I came by in the night with my flicker
I sang to you with glitter
It was in winter that you made me sigh
Waking up in the morn
Your image lingering in my mind
From my sojourn I pondered through the ice
I had fallen for you head over heels
As you were affable and benevolent to me
It was in winter that you held my hand
Mingled through the crowd for my embrace
I had found that ubiquitous lady in my life
Its time to free ourselves and wiggle
It was here that we first kissed
It was in winter that I saw tears drip on your cheeks
Obliviously your heart was broken
And am sorry I didn’t notice it hurt you
I had left you with pieces of your broken heart in the flesh
I am sorry that I was face valuing
It was in winter that I had come to say sorry
My flowers tucked in my coat neatly
The morning coldness beating against my cheeks
I had my breath for my guilt was too much
At your place I could feel the emptiness, you had left
Summer came by and you were nowhere
Scratching the earth for your love
But you were gone for a new beginning
You had endured a lot but hear my plea
And I will wait for winter to hold your hand and rekindle our love
