Life

Sometimes I wonder what life would be if people would ban with each other to
help one another and love unconditionally.

A world where everyone would get together and want what is fair and just and not
take from others or live for their own lusts.

A place where love abounds and sincerity is seen where all citizens are treated
as valuable and others don’t look down with demean.

To know children could go to the park and play without worrying if someone is
going to hurt them or take them away.

I would have such joy to walk down the street and to not fear that a person wants
to hurt or steal or to plot my defeat.

Although I know world peace will never come about but isn’t it nice to envision a
world without fear throughout?

A place where everyone knew what is good and what is bad and not reward the
bad and grieve the good.

To hope for these things is definitely to dream but wouldn’t life be great if the
dream really wasn’t a dream and could be reality?

A Poem of Praise

I've walked thru many miles, I've felt so much pain but
through all my trials I've glorified your name, it is the
name of Jesus. Thank You Jesus, for all you've done for
me for all you do, Jesus Praise you Jesus for all the
glory belongs to you.

My days feel so much brighter, the nights I do not fear,
for you fill my desire, your word I do adhere because of
you Jesus. Thank You Jesus, for all you've done for me
for all you do, Jesus Praise you Jesus for all the glory
belongs to you.

Remembering a Great Land

She was once a magnificent land filled with glory, greenery and loved.
Cherished, proud, admired and oh so much desired.

Her waters flowed from the brooks and her ocean waves roared.
Once you could see your reflection from the majestic coastal shore.

Her harvest was fresh, edible with no fear of pestilence or chemicals.
Fruits from her trees could be eaten with ease.

There was no worry about transfat.
Most food was home cooked with no preservatives or this and that.

The animals would walk the land healthy and carefree.
There was slight concern of shortage or impurity.

The air felt clean as you breathed on a beautiful spring day.
All the billowy clouds were hued with white and blue leisurely flowing their way.

Traveling was filled with pleasure one would look forward to a favorite destination.
No one had to measure the distance and approach with hesitation.

There was no Internet nor was it a way to survive.
A car was a luxury not a necessity to drive.

People smiled as you walked down the street with respect in their eyes.
Little worry for children who played at parks outside.

This land has changed the future is here.
Has change done good or added more fear?

Is progress truly a progression, what little did we gain?
Did the people in the past live their life in vain?

We can determine the future by the way we live.
Remember our values, God, Respect, Honor and to Love is to give.

Why

Why do the rich grow richer but the poor mans dream go awry?
Why only in death, does someone give a sigh?
Why do the birds fly so high amongst the big blue sky?
Will we really ever know the reasons why?
Why oh why oh why………..

Why are wild animals ignored, left to die?
Yet are people really like animals, so many tell the lie?
Why do the orphans have no one to hear their cry?
Life is filled with turmoil and victims left to die.
Why oh why oh why………..

So why do the wicked prosper when wicked is their way?
Why are the innocent lambs often their prey?
We don’t have all the answers to say, but I do know in the end,
the evil will have their day.
We must also remember, Jesus died for the good and the bad the weak and the
sly?
Yes, Jesus died for you and I.
My oh my oh my…………..

Hope Is In the Future

When your heart grows weaker and you no longer want to fight,
And the hounds are howling, a struggle in the plight,
Remember, Hope is in the future, the outlook is bright.

When feelings of insecurity quickly begin to grow,
And your spirit is at an all time low, consider this even though,
Hope is in the future, this I do know.

Sadness surrounds me, life is so unclear.
My hands tremble and am always filled with fear, although I must adhere,
Hope is in the future, the target is near.

The army grows stronger little will to fight.
Everyone has their own wrong and right, but I know with all my might,
Hope is in the future, with faith not sight.

Summer is not eternal winter will come.
No mortal can comfort what damage has done.
Hope is in the future through Christ God's son.
