Sanity's Frontline

Feel the thunder
It rattles my brain
Wakes me up
Drives me insane
Feel the rain
Gets under my skin
In a game
I'm not suppose to win
Lightning flashes
Across my mind
So bright
It makes me blind
Looking
For morning light
Not going to hide
Going to stand and fight
My enemy
Strikes from within
I've been waiting
For this fight to begin
No need to kick
No desire to scream
This battle takes place
In my dream
For tonight
The men in white
Will strap me down
Nice and tight

Me

Me

You may find me
In a tree
But never on the beach
Near the sea

I can be found
Close to the ground
Or in the air
As I fly around

You might see me
In September
But I doubt you will
In November

I work hard
And have loyalty
After all
She is Royalty

It's Sweet
To think of me
After all
I am a Honey Bee

Past November

Snowflakes
Frozen Lakes
Dead Leaves
Ice Cold Breeze

Fireplace
Logs Ablaze
Nice and Warm
Outside the Storm

Winter's Bold
Icy Cold
Men of Snow
Wherever You Go

Cocoa's Hot
My Toes Are Not
All's Okay
This December Day

My Parting Gifts

Do not wonder why
I didn't say goodbye
Remember these three
Gifts left by me
Always give of yourself
Do not leave good deeds on a shelf
Don't be afraid to love
It's what the best things in life are made of
Don't dwell to much on yesterday
Learn from it and be on your way
These things I give to you
I hope you will give them too

My Goodbye

I remember
Years ago
I had a whole life to live
Today I lay upon my bed
With no more life to give
I find a smile
The years were kind
I shed a tear
Because I can't rewind
So many memories
Fill my mind
My eyes will close
One last time
I will leave
This life behind
Now it's time
I must say goodbye
It's my turn to die
