Nervous

Nervous from this angry energy
Tendons tight and lungs held steady
Control is what I am
Control this seeping cold
Control this rising anxiety
One day soon this balloon shall pop
You won't want to be here when it does
So run
Run to somewhere that my pain can
     not effect you
Whether that be a planet away in the
cloud of drugs or simply the
next state over with a new
     lover
Wherever you need to flee I shall not
     judge
I only know that you do not want to
     be here when this
     body floods

Hurricane

Hands crushing my ribcage
Horizon fading into non-existence
Order thrown aside carelessly by
     chaos
Feelings pulsing through the
     impalements from finger
     nails in my heart
Tops of pine trees bending in the
     force of this impending storm
Connections in my spine bending
     from the strings in your
     control
These winds will certainly leave us
     destroyed
However, I am under your ruling so I
follow right behind you into the
     hurricane

Sugar Lips

Lazy hips/sugar lips
Dancing beneath these stars
Hazy faces/spaced out places
Still chasing the same daydreams
Dandelion fingertips/let me take a sip
The bets are wagered, the lines drawn
But we fall against the odds/take no regard

Yearning

A dreamscape of woven wanting
Fingers trailing frozen roads
Hearts with a feverish hope
And souls yearning to travel to foreign destinations
To escape this ghoulish town
Minds exploding in a golden fire on the horizon
As we reach for that impossible something

Cold

My bones are out to play
Pale against the darkened sky
Jagged and splintered
I'm wary and livid

You said you chose me
But instead you chose the other
The muscle in my chest is weary

The sky is blue but I am too
Why does my brain wander this way
Faded into the blank sky
Trying to clutch a waterfall

Snow through my fingers
Melting/missing
Missed

Us

AND WE ARE ALL THE BAD PARTS IN ROMANTIC MOVIES

THE KISSES DON'T REMIND ME OF YOU/
THE FISTS TO MY RIBS MAKE ME SPEAK YOUR NAME
