She Is Just a Kid

You said I was annoying as a little kid.
Yet you stayed by my side when no one did
Add to that, you are still whishing me the best ahead
And looking at the numbers of mistakes I did
I look at you now, my face turned red
I want to say sorry, yet it’s not enough
I need to say it yes, but this time with love
I made you cry, scream, jump up and down for something I spilled on the floor, when you were done cleaning, and exhausted.
Yet you would start over without saying a word.
I am sorry mom, I was just a kid!
You knew I was a kid.
You said it to yourself inside your head every time I cause trouble.
“She is just a kid.”
Patient. Elegant.
Loving. Encouraging.
Supportive. Protective.
Hardworking. Heartwarming.
You taught me to love, to forgive, and to live a life filled with purpose.
You were always there for me.
You were always there with words of wisdom.
Your strength and love has guided me and gave me wings to fly.
Today I get to say "Thanks mom for all of what you did to me. I will continually be there for you like you always did for me. Oh, and I am still your little girl mom!”

A Free Thinking Individual

I look around me and feel something missing
Not that I can see, but strongly can feel…
I want to fix it, but strangely, it can’t heal.
My friend had changed, and that angered me…
She said she wanted to be perfect, and then dodged me
It hurts my feelings, but I won’t follow
‘Cause sorry, no one can be perfect...
People try to copy others, instead of learning from one another

You start acting like a fool
Thinking it will make you look cool
Believing no one will mess with you
Wanting everyone to love you…
But life is not a plan, its art.
You don’t know what may happen, but you have expectations
And instead you end up with some reflections
It happens to everyone...not just you.

No one is perfect, but everyone is special
Special, because they are different
Different than everybody else
Because they are being themselves…
I am 100% original
A free thinking individual
That nobody can belittle…
Because we are all the same…
So just simply be yourself.

Bombing Without Mercy

When America bombed Hiroshima our city,

Three days later without pity,

They bombed Nagasaki and ruined the city.

Killed at least 200,000 people.

It was a normal day.

We were all going either to work, or school.

That day, I was very excited because

I was chosen to be “it” for hide and seek.

I was counting down, when I saw

A big ball of light that came out of the sky.

It was getting larger and brighter.

Warmer and louder.

And all of a sudden,

Boom!!!

I felt like I was falling…….

The school building was crashing under my feet.

I heard kids crying,

And I felt pain and blood all over my body.

I felt somebody carrying me.

A soldier………

He carried me to a safe place,

Where I could be healed.

But, there wasn’t really any safe place.

Being carried around,

I saw dead bodies all around me,

Burned to ashes.

Those who were still alive,

Were screaming for help.

And more…….screaming from pain.

I saw a mother who was trying to help her kid.

The kid was screaming his throat out for his mother.

“Mom, Help me….. Mom where are you”

The fire was eating him without mercy.

Not able to help him,

 His mother cried and said

“Sorry…..I am so sorry. I am a bad mother”………

The city that was 15 minutes ago full of life.

Was now full of nothing but ashes and a RED ocean.

You couldn’t recognize people anymore,

Nor buildings.

Those who where still alive were wishing to die.

They were hungry and thirsty.

And they were ALL in pain.

Yet, there wasn’t really any body to help them,

Nor any food or water to drink and eat.

After about 6 hours,

It started to rain.

The rain was as dark as the dead bodies,

But nobody cared.

They were so happy that they finally found water.

They didn’t know it contains acid.

Moreover,

They didn’t care.

They drank and drank.

And people started to get poisoned,

And died.

August 1945.

When my people lost their life.

A day that can’t be forgotten.

Nor can have another discussion.

August 6, 1945.

When America bombed Hiroshima our city.

Three days later without pity,

They bombed Nagasaki and ruined the city.

Killed at least 200,000 people,

And ended the war.

With a big smile and a party,

More with no heart.

Missing You

*chorus*
When you are far away from me, I am always alone.
When I see a smile on your face, or a message on my phone
I get a feeling of warmth and love I've never known

Listen
*rap*
When you left me alone that day and slammed the door
You came an hour after and saw me on the floor
It was only an hour, but it went so slow
You picked me up. Hugged me. And never let me go
I slept in between your arms that day
Never realized I will wake up and never see you again
My life after that became miserable
While in fact, I thought it would be incredible.

*chorus*
When you are far, away from me, I am always alone.
When I see a smile, on your face or a message on my phone
I get a feeling of warmth, and love I have never known

But now you're gone,
Away from me
Your face has been drawn,
Under the see.

*Pause any instrument*
But you will never come back.
Though you're still in my heart.
I will never lose track,
Of your work of art.

*chorus*
When you are far, away from me, I am always alone.
When I see a smile on your face, or a message on my phone
I get a feeling of warmth and love I have never known.

Yet any time, I will be by your side.
We will see the light it's our bride.

I Want You Back

I don't know much about you, but I am all alone.
No one is beside me, and I am all on my own.
My dad has so much work, and he is never home.
My mom takes care of four other kids, cooking, and she is always holding a broom.

I never thought I will become so lonely because I was so busy with my life.
I had a wonderful life and friends who could easily slice apples with no knife.

I never realized until I left them all behind.
I never realized that I was so blind.

Crashing My Dream

My dream is to be a writer,

But you want me to be a doctor.

Before, I had wanted to be a singer,

But as always you shushed me with one finger.

So I started to hide my real personalities

My real needs of facilities.

Then you found out,

And blocked me from the out side world.

Made me look like a lout

By taking my phone, laptop, I Pad

And all things that helped me and inspired me.

You said it is protection,

But I can't see how,

Taking somebody's dream

Can be positive to them.

You said I lied to you,

While in reality,

you blocked me from what I really want.

How did you expect me to give up on my dream,

That had been with me for years?

I got mad,

And I wanted to run away from the house.

I thought that there would be somebody

Anywhere that will help me,

but then I thought about it,

If my own mother is against me

How would somebody else be with me?

That Will Never Ever Be

This will never ever be
My last day of being me.
I will never change to who
Not to the person you want me to.
Don’t think I am your shelf
Storing books with different titles.
I will always be myself
No matter how much you store on me of these files.

She Was Right

In my new school, I have no friends.
Half of the year is already gone, but it just feels like the rest will never end.

I have tried to be friends with them all.
But I noticed there is a cliff somewhere, and I will fall.

You see them all friendly with each other.
But wait until you see them talking about one another.

They take the opportunity when one is absent.
Curse and make fun of them suddenly became the way to show benevolence.

Funny to me they are really nice in front of each other.
And the two faces show, changes faster than the weather.

Some have noticed, but they never speak.
Some can talk, but they will never be believed
I have tried to talk to some of them, but they never listen.
I will be out of view, and they can choose their faith.
But don’t come crying to me like yesterday and say “you were right,”
Don’t go home and cry yourself to sleep and say “She was right.”
