Prayer Changes Things
Indeed this is true
Yet, there are still so many people struggling,
and not knowing what to do
With trials & tribulations that we're faced with each day
But through faith & prayer alone
He can lead our way
For He can overcome any obstacle placed in our path
All we have to do is just believe in him and ask
So listen my friend, the next time your struggling,
and don't know what to do
Just pray, and you too shall see........

Save the Children

Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust
Oh Lord, who shall save the children who are lost
Many are living their lives on the edge
In this violent world, for which we live
Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust
Oh Lord, who shall save the children who are lost
Their caught in a crossfire of a burning blaze
Where bullets fly and where guns won't have names
Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust
Oh Lord, who shall save these children who are lost
Mother's, Father's, do not despair!
For there is a Lord up there who hears your prayer
So have faith, trust, and just believe
for it is only He who can set them free
For it is only thy Lord who can 
save our children who are lost

Eyes of An Angel

It was the Eyes of Angel,
that cast it's eyes on me
For this angel had come to show me,
what I could not see
You see, I could no longer hear, nor could I see
All of the destruction I had created around me
And as I gazed into these Eyes of an Angel,
I began to feel something deep down inside
A peaceful, comforting feeling, one I can hardly describe
Some say it was the Holy Spirit, sent from up above
Sent to remind me, guide me, and let me Feel his love
I'll never forget those Eyes of an Angel, sent from up above
For now I know what this angel had come to show me
It was God's Eternal Love

Things happen, people change
Yes, I've said this once before
But if you'll lend me an ear, I'll share a bit more
Things happen, people change
It's happening everyday
You see, you start by letting go and letting God lead the way
Things happen, people change
I know this to be true
I know this because it's begun to happen
for me now and it can also happen for 
you  So listen my friends, at these words that I say
Just trust in God with all your heart
For He will not lead you astray

My Soulmate Is You

CENTURIES OF SEEKING, YET NEVER TO FIND
ANYWHERE, WAS THERE A SOUL THAT WAS QUITE LIKE MINE
THOUGH, THERE HAS BEEN SOULS THAT I HAVED PASSED ALONG MY WAY
NEVER HAD I FOUND ONE TO TAKE MY HAND AND MAKE ME WANT TO STAY
SO I'VE CONTINUED MY PATH, AS A SINGLE SOUL
WITH A SMILE & LOVING HEART, BUT STILL HOPING TO ONE DAY FIND THAT ONE TRUE 
SOUL THAT WOULD ONCE AGAIN CAPTURE MY HEART
NOW MY DARLING, MY SEARCHING IS OVER AS A SINGLE SOUL
FOR I'VE FOUND A HEART SO TRUE, AND SOMEHOW I'VE KNOWN ALL ALONG MY DARLING, 
THAT IT WOULD BE YOU
FOR YOU HAVE TOUCHED MY HEART, MY BODY & SOUL
IN A WAY I HAVE NEVER EVER FELT BEFORE

In God's Hands

I put it in God's hands, all the pain & troubles of my life

And what He gave me in return was this whole brand new life

I put it in God's hands, all my fears & concerns

And what He gave me in return was some knowledge of his word

I put it in God's hands, all the burden I'd been carrying

And what He gave me in return was this gift of writing poetry & sharing

You see, He's given me so many many blessings in my life

He is our Lord, our Savior, his name.........

THINGS HAPPEN, PEOPLE CHANGE, NOTHING STAYS THE SAME...

I TELL YOU, MY FRIENDS,  NOTHING STAYS THE SAME.....................


AS I LOOK IN THE MIRROR, WHAT DO I SEE?
A SAD & LONELY GIRL, WHO'S AGING SO QUICKLY
I SAY, THINGS HAPPEN, PEOPLE CHANGE
BUT NOTHING STAYS THE SAME
AS I LOOK BACK ON YESTERYEAR, 
AND ALL THE THINGS I'VE DONE
ALL THE PARTYING, ALL THE MEN
& ALL THOSE BAD DECISIONS
I SAY, THINGS HAPPEN, PEOPLE CHANGE
BUT IT SEEMED EVERYONE HAD BUT ME
BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR ME, YOU SEE
TO MAKE SOME CHANGES TOO!
I WANT A BETTER LIFE FOR ME & MY FAMILY
AND NOW I KNOW JUST WHAT TO DO 
TO MAKE THOSE DREAMS COME TRUE

Come, walk with me, my friends
For your no longer lost
You see, the path is clear, so have no fear
For just ahead, you can see
The Gates of Heaven awaits you, my friends
Come, walk with me
