Elizabeth Esparza Poem
The sun was shining, smiling towards mother earth;children happily playing
While through the world mothers were giving birth
Love birds singing in the bright blue sky; husbands and wifes keeping each other warm through out the night
Families uniting, sharing the love all the time; friends bonding with each other
Looking at stars shining bright
All of a sudden thunder came crashing,children running around so rambunctious;
Mothers unfairly aborting the unborn whille others ran out and to their kids caused hurt
Crows flying in a murder,whille couples were going through divorce;
Friends engaging over betrayal some unloyal to jesus selling their souls
As I looked around I closed my eyes tightly, a voice that was unheard told me to keep fighting;
I fought for the righteous with a peaceful sword the sharpest of all, it was GOD'S word

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
Buttons of roses blossom around me
With so many colors that glitter with magic
If I fall in love they turn brightly red
When I play with children
They become white like snowflakes
When I make a new friend they turn sunny yellow
For even they laugh with their newly made fellows
Times I spend with my sister they will turn pink
As my two brothers come they will joyfully wink
When I'm feeling sad, my roses turn blue
As my tears are falling, with me they cry too
One horrible day all I found was rose petals
In my heart I knew that nothing could be worse
This magical roses are one of a kind
They are each very special they will always be mine
You see, this seeds where not planted in dirt
To these magical roses one day I gave birth

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
One day a friend asked me to play
He said don't worry it would be safe
Not being sure about wanting to stay
Towards the mud I made my way
Jumping to diving then just sitting back
Of all the timing I fastly lost track
I tried to get out
But I didn't know how
The mud was too slippery
Kept pulling me down
I'm still in the mud playing no more
Nobody cared I was being ignored
I should have listened to what I was told
Don't play in the mud or your life will turn cold
This mud was addicting
I did not realize
Before I used heroine
I should have thought twice

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
Looking through my anthology,
I discovered many treasures unknown
They were very articulate
so much aptitude to me was shown
My life I seen so ambiguous,
so much anguish I felt in my soul
This apathy I had to annihilate
before it was to late for me to grow
Today this this feeling of agony,
that is so aimless I throw out the door
I now have altered from arrogance
It's time to abolish this abominable world

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
this memories I fight to keep
for they are the best to remember
every time I think of them I weep
each year from January to December
from the first time i knew you would grow in my womb
to the first time i seen your beautiful smile
In my heart I knew how much I loved you
of you i would never be in denial
you are the best thing that happened to me
from the first time you laughed to your very first teeth
with your presence my soul was cleaned
the worst of times you made them taste sweet
my two lovely children I want you to know
my unconditional love for you will only grow

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
It's hard to speak the things I think
But harder to free what I keep
This love is blind my heart don't see
Please what I feel don't let it be
I'm so afraid to one day know
That old together we won't grow
My sadness to you I won't show
I Hope that this love you won't throw
So many things you will not share
With emptiness at me you stare
For many hours your not there
This loneliness I just can't bare
I wish that you could hold me tight
Caress each other through the night
Instead you stay out of my sight
For this love should I continue to fight?
Am I really the one for you
Or did you find somebody new
From you I only want whats true
Even if my heart turns blue
Rejection from you goes my way
This pain I won't take one more day
It seems you don't have much to say
By your side I'll no longer stay

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
Swirling waves along the sea
Swerving leaves among the trees
Gliding petals through the gardens
Climbing over giant mountains
Stumbles and falls over the rocks
Through the road we run across
Hiding when it falls to darkness
Shining in the morning light
Ready when its time to fight
Running when we are going to cry
Asking God for our forgiveness
Before its our time to die

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
This knot made of veins, will show you different ways
from madness to sadness,to love and happiness
It gives you life, can cause you death
it pumps by the second, from so much distress
This may talk in riddles, makes one desperately confused
if there is lies spoken by love, we become the fun to be used
Some can't tell the difference, between reality or a dream
still wondering..., if they are able to think
Some know exactly what they see, destination brings meant to be
mixed with many surprises, with mix emotions in deed
What makes us feel and makes us do?
it's a tangled heart....., which lives in you

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
in this world so full of sorrow
many of us sit and wonder
we shall fight to step up higher, or we will end up under
learn thru out the night
speak out loud what we feel is right
we shall not give up, always be ready to fight
never close your eyes
always open up your mind
many things awaiting, for us to go and find
there is someone there
that with you they want to share
happiness and also sadness, for you they really care
now you surely know
that you never where alone
you are the only one, that of your life can take control

Elizabeth Esparza Poem
In the alley they walk through
Some are old and some are new
Many never want to leave
Some wish that they never knew
In the alley time goes by
With out knowing when it's night
Always have to be acute
And be ready for a fight
Slowly they all disappear
Hardly anyone is here
In the air you can't smell freshness
But you can really feel the fear
In this alley we all know
That we are bound to loose control
It can't ever be to late
To be you not an unknown
