Unity

Standing upon a golden hill
Wind wash our breath away
we've not any fear inside our chest
of this we're sure today
through good times and bad times
no things will change our minds
strengthened like steel our might
we rise our eyes in determination
for what we feel is right
hold tight the arms of your clan
let none shake them free
forever together family and friends
this is how it's mean to be
blood or not, an unbreakable bond
a memory of kindness and love
to last through all the years
a sweet soft calming song
to comfort any tears
let the healing commence
negativity at it's end
our relationship won't bend
there's no darkness
only light and sanctity
our call resounding strong

Seashell Serenade

Swiftly waves swell
thrashing about like
they've a story to tell
soft echoing sound
noises seem surround
shells beckoning out
not quite a shout
come, stay with us here
there's nothing to fear
so many ears listen
eyes wet and glisten
they hear our songs
we wade trough the throng
we are so abundant, not few
let us sing for you
not long can we play
before we float away
at sunset's fall
listen our call
this nice sweet warm day
a seashell serenade

Contemplation

Hearts beating synchronized
tears flowing from welling eyes
exhaling truth, expelling lies
in dreams are we, our dreams go free
through effervescent smiles
exuberance,ebullience
whimsical Luxuriance
neither of riches or gold
but life untamed and fresh
to us this simplistic bliss
what wonders we miss
when we're stuck inside
the thick drawn line
it's madness they say
don't break away
the parallel string
what does it mean
such a quizzical thing
chaos and order
stay inside the border
of reality, don't be so weird
no room for it here
distinctly defined
a human being mind

Dream

listening to the crackle of distortion
my mind a wallowing contortion
of endless mystery
grey mass enveloping me
I cant even try to breathe
reaching to pull myself out from under
the deep water I plunder
but i'm lost within
scraping, breaking my skin
getting colder and colder
grasping my shoulders
I sigh why am i down here
i'm not going to drown here
strength is my retribution
slowly focused to contribution
hazy emotion, lackluster devotion
suddenly my inside is fire
overwhelming desire to escape
Grabbing the edge of the ice
pulling myself upwards
away from the frozen dark lake
I sit atop a frozen slab
my heart pounding, ears ringing
shivering I smile, I know i'm safe
I awaken, it was a just a dream
