Jeremy Edgar Poem
Assumptions
By Jeremy Edgar
Most conflicts are a creation,
Of poor communication,
Or provocation,
Caused by misinterpretation.
Use your imagination,
And gather information.
Avoid aggravation,
With a small investigation.
So resist the temptation,
To make an accusation.
Misinformation,
Can lead to humiliation.

Jeremy Edgar Poem
Each day, I could write a book
Full of the things I’ve done,
But there just isn’t time
I’m too busy having fun,
As soon as one adventure’s over
Another one has begun.
Like the time I saw my cat
Stuck up in a tree
I climbed up high to rescue her
And then to set her free
I reached out, my cat jumped down
And they had to rescue me
With one adventure finished
I wasn’t out of luck
The firefighters invited me
To ride upon their truck
You see there just wasn’t time
To write it in a book

Jeremy Edgar Poem
I have these buttons that people press,
That make me a little crazy.
It might be someone who leaves a mess,
Because they are too lazy.
Or it might be someone who makes a noise,
When I want to take a nap.
Or my brother who takes my toys,
And my favorite baseball cap.
An elevator has buttons too,
That take it up and down.
It happily does what it’s told to do,
And doesn’t make a frown.
Maybe I won’t jump again,
When my buttons are pressed.
I could just count to ten,
And be a lot less stressed.
