Neil Kruger Poem
Death where is your sting?
I am alive and with that I bring,
the power of God
and through that I sing
of His graceful offering,
the death of His Son.
His only offspring.

Neil Kruger Poem
With a wounded heart
I lay here and cry.
Some wrongs I've done
I won't deny
to be ripped apart
From your embrace
Brings pain that won't heal
Without leaving a trace.

Neil Kruger Poem
Replenish* my heart
with unquenchable coals.
Make it burn so hot
So I'm unable to control
The fire burning from deep in my soul.
When it seems to die
I ask You to try
And replenish* my heart
With unquenchable coals.
Note*: the word replenish has a double meaning. "To fill" and to "refill."

Neil Kruger Poem
A heart without a home
Can cause one much pain.
A mind on the troll
Can cause one much shame.
A life all alone
Feels like acid rain.
Loneliness knows me by name

Neil Kruger Poem
Many times I feel lost,
a future without a purpose
and an empty soul
The truth of my life has conformed me
to misery.
A sting in my heart,
the poison seeping into my soul.
I am dying slowly,
people glaring,
eyes burning,
opinions formed about me.
My mind racing,
thoughts screaming.
Stop staring holes into my skull!
Darkness flooding in.
I feel cold and empty
Then came a sudden bright light.
out of it came three images:
The Southern cross, Orion's belt and Scorpio.
With it came a voice.
I am the One that leads the way,
like the Southern cross in the night sky.
I Am the Truth.
Now look up and see Orion's belt.
Put on My belt of truth
and I will become your Truth
and you will receive My Joy.
Again, look up and see Scorpio.
I Am your Protector.
rejoice in Me and feel safe.
Like a scorpion attacks its prey,
I will smite your enemies with My wrath.
I Am the Way and the Truth
and in Me you now have life.

Neil Kruger Poem
In my days of sorrow, I look at my life.
It saddens me to see what I find.
I see weaknesses I didn't know I have, nor do I know where it came from.
I see oppression that keeps a boy from becoming a man.
I see childhood anger preventing me from living with peace in my heart.
I see abuse that breaks down my ability to have compassion.
I see a boy trying to stand up for himself, but keeps being kicked down, sand kicked in his face.
I see a boy lost, not knowing where to turn for help, left to fend for himself.
But
In my days of joy
I see where I draw my strength from, my strength comes from the Lord.
I see grace that surpasses all understanding. Grace that keeps me alive.
Grace that allows me to be me.
I see a man rising from the ashes, a man picking up his sword ready for battle.
A man preparing to take his place in this world, facing the enemy head-on.
In the end
I see a man that lived his life without regrets.
I see a man that came out victorious.
I see a man that learned from the past,
applied it in his present life and for that now have peace in his heart.
In conclusion
I saw a boy going through pain and suffering (physical and emotional).
I see a hardened man rising up, learning from the past and preparing for his future.
I see a man in the near future, fulfilled, at peace and living a godly life, serving Christ.
May I become like this man.

Neil Kruger Poem
Is there a pill, a prayer or principle
to undo the damage of many years?
To suppress my emotions
or hide the truth?
to make gone with the old, sinfull nature?
I have searched all over,
tried every DIY-solutions,
but all have fallen short
and been found wanting.( Daniel5:27)
Its time to get to the roots,
to humbly face the truth,
regardless of pain and fear.
For the time has come,
the season has dawned (Ecclesiastes 3:1),
For Him who began the good work in me,
to continue this slow and painfull process,
the long-suffering, continues moulding -
for the final outcome -
To be transformed in His image,
the likeness of Christ. (Philipphians 1:6)

Neil Kruger Poem
As He is God
I am in His image, created
As He is strong -
I am strong
As He is fierce
I am fierce
As He angers
I anger
As He lead
I follow
As He command
I do
As He is wild
I am wild
As He is adventurous
I am adventurous
As He is free
I am free
As He is the Father
I am His son
As He is God
I am in His image, created
The Lord is a Warrior
The Lord is His name. (Ex 15:3)
I am a warrior
Neil is my name.

Neil Kruger Poem
I remember the first day my eyes fell on you.
Saying "your beautiful" - before a "thank you" and I blushing smile - you ran off and left me there with nothing else to do.
I remember the day we sat in a tree.
It was the first day we fell inlove, you and me.
We sat there for hours talking about life and its dramas, not knowing the things that's going to harm us.
I remember the night when our first kiss left me weak in the knees.
But with a touch of your hand
you left me there stranded,
not knowing how to handle it
you gave a sweet little giggle
and blew out the candle light.
These memories haunt me every night of every day.
I keep phoning, but you will not answer.
Everything you did to me, doesn't matter.
Only thing I want to have is you with me.
My heart is aching, can't you see?
Everytime I close my eyes,
Everytime I fall asleep,
Everytime I dream of you
I miss you Rosalind
Everytime I hear your name
Everytime I see your face
Everytime I think of you
I realize that I don't want to live without you.

Neil Kruger Poem
Lord I saw Your face last night
when I looked at the sky.
You were smiling.
You said: "it will be okay, I will make a way in your dark times"
And everytime I hear Your voice,
Jesus,
Everytime I feel Your touch,
You make me know that I can face tomorrow,
just one more time.
And all my friends have gone away,
loved ones went astray,
yet You're still near me.
And even if the wind blows by,
I feel warm inside,
Because Your love comforts me in these testing times
this is for a man of God. A true leader and an inspiration to others
