Man From Nkandla

I know a man from Nkandla called Zuma
He has an offspring like tuna
He thinks shower
Has the power
To repair his broken bazooka

Nyanga

Nyanga

The murder capital
Divine space for criminals
A place where Jesus sleeps
And Satan recruits
Churches are lifeless
While taverns flourish
Drug lords are praised
Young girls get raped
And fatherless babies are raised

Thugs hip and hop to siren sounds
While police chase shadows at night
Gastric juices breakdown positive thought
And poverty steals dreams
Brain self-destruct
Gory thoughts construct
And Gun powder rapidly spreads
While the light at the end of the tunnel slowly disappears

Government croons a still tune
In numbers learners dropout of school
Back yard dwellers homes exist in their dreams
Because Urbanisation vehicle brings merciless thieves from the East......,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Sober and the Drunkard

I drink until I drop
While he cheats and get a drop (drop- STI)
Where bottles are emptied I am found
Find him where condoms are filled
And zipped are undone
I drink, flirt and blackout
While he bumps, grind and passout

Weekends I watch football
While he figures out
as to whom to empty his ball
Social networks are his strong hold
Whilst mine is to grab the cold
My lies are easily detectable
His are barely discernible

The point here is that, there is absolutely
No point to be made
Just an inebriated poet
With a biro.

A Friend Named Sue

I once had a friend named Sue
She always wore the same shoe
When I asked why
She started to cry
I guess her brain was a challenging issue

Politics and Politicians

Politics are like long excruciating
Unsatisfactory sexual experience,
Politician the lad equipped
With the tiniest tool
Crowing as sex goddess,
Polls the bed covered with roses
Candles lit all around it
Sadly underprivileged beings
Being orgasmic sanguine woman.

Situations of such nature,
Pleasure is absolutely unattainable
Emotional crisis is bound to be catastrophic.

Don’t be convoluted by these convulsive
Cosmetic counterfeit promises political parties
Formulate in order to fornicate you for your ballot
Once satisfied vanish leaving you bitterly impoverished
Only to see you half decade later.

I Love You, My Love

I love you, my love
Like our Father's love from above
I know our tongues carry a common scar
Scar caused by slurs
Held back during the times of war
War declared to impel my own delight
While slowly killing your dimunitive glee
My love, your untainted warmth soothed me
And befriended me with the son of Joseph
Through your folks basilica

My God given Namaqualand daisy
That bears bright flowers daily
In the most unpleasant conditions
Dry and barren locations
Still you bestow upon me
The most fundamental space of
Your sacred heart
I love you, my love
I love you
I love
I

Eve and the Snake

Hate breaks the great
Like Eve tricked by the snake
The act made God shake
And sent Gabriel for a life to take
She screamed I made a mistake
But I guess it was too late
Adam wished he was Jake
And searched the garden for a lake
To jump in and be awake
For heaven's sake
My life is at stake

My Sibling In Dublin

I have a sibling somewhere in Dublin
When I miss her I jump in a wheelie bin
And pen her a limerick
Just to make her smirk
If she don't like my head will spin

Criticism

Criticism to the simple-minded
kills companionship
To the shrewd
it is like pain
to the body
Simply a caution
as to unfavourable state of things
And that abrupt attention
is necessary.

Throw your critic ball warily
against the wall of energies
As the rebound might
transform your remaining years
The transformation caused by
the time, skill and energy
invested In bringing to life
the imaginary into existence
While the uninformed views
point out errors

Joblessness

AJoblessness is rough ask me
Friends vanish believe me
Your Family rejects you
And your other half blames you
Joblessness is tough believe me

Your incapability become laziness
And your jokes only bring sadness
You become a broken piece of the puzzle
That fits no more
Like the gloomy old days of the struggle
Joblessness is no good believe me

Society subjects you to constant surveillance
As if your situation was an act of defiance
Powers of the universe retrieve your soul
As I play no role and my life is out of control
