Morning Does Though Have To Come

Morning does though have to come

Your glow in the ever present morning ever awakes me,
Oh, sun can't you ever sleep?
And if waking me up wasn't enough,
You had to be scorching hot too!
Oh mornings I hate you!
To wake up a five to go through a stressing morning at school,
And if waking early wasn't enough they had to give home work too,
'Study! Study! and study some more,' the teachers voice can be heard,
Yet when you fall asleep in their classes they say,
'You should go to bed early.'
Early or late does it really matter?
For when you awake at five you'll think it's just seven,
Seven in the night,
Even though the sun is just outside.

When You Hid From Me Your Beauty

When You Hid From Me Your Beauty

To: The Moon

I tried to look at your magnificent beauty,
As you slowly moved behind the earth,
Trying to evade my precious light,
Did you have to try to let the whole world know?
That you’re upset with me for a show,
You were trying to give off your own light,
And you know you only reflect from me?
Any ways your beauty as you moved behind the shadow of the earth,
Was of such I started to miss you at once,
And when the earth’s ozone shattered my blue and green light and only my red shone through,
And when you reflected the red light,
Oh, you took my breath away,
Dear moon I will never take advantage of you again for I fear,
That you shall go behind the earth’s shadow,
Once more and never show to me your beauty again.
