Enchanted Rapture

You are a graciuos lion standing guard over this forrest of illusions simply known
as Gemini. Leo's fire has not been tamed, yet you try to tame the air of the twins.
Mercury tries to emulate your eternal sun with her charm. Fascinated by your
power, seduced by your warmth. As your sun is kissing the guardian of beautiful
dreams an enchanted evening I will be kissing the guardian of my rapture good
morning for eternity. Infinity is the prison that detains this perpetual love, yet I
have found my deliverance making love to your soul.

Destroyed In a Flash

Just a few small words spoken in vain
an act of selfish pity and pain
Trust destroyed in a flash
The love in your eyes totally replaced
by the hatred of things that cannot be erased
Your love destroyed in a flash
Memories of the past are left to die
as you are left to wonder why
your life was destroyed in a flash
Take sweet comfort in the pain
that is driving me completely insane
My soul destroyed in a flash
No other love will ever be
greater than the memory of you and me
My forever destroyed in a flash

Moments...

One moment in time.
One deep breath...
you were mine.
In my heart...
In my soul...
Every thought
of every second...
Every breath...
Every sunrise...
emptiness.
Every sunset...
alone.
All I have...
a dream.
Never to be...
Wrong place.
Wrong time.
Wrong life.

Mirror of Pain

Your hate is boiling up inside
it has no place to run or hide
Your heart is breaking clean in two
there's nothing you can do
Your soul has become a lake of fire
to hurt someone your greatest desire
You want someone to feel your pain
that is almost driving you insane
You look up so silently
into the eyes of your enemy
But instead of ugly mocking glares
you see your soul reflected there

Friendless

Inner peace shattered in one word
silence like I've never heard
Happiness lied once again
sadness at the loss of a friend
Trust is a thing of the past
our love hasn't a chance to last
Betrayal of the biggest kind
where the hell is my peace of mind
Lost forever in a sea of black
because you left and didn't turn back

16 Oz Cage

Rain falls just as qick as the tears
it still hurts, the pain of the years
But I still hold so much hope
that one day we'll be able to cope
With all the wrongs that need to be right
that soon there will be no reason to fight
No reason to yell out and place blame
just to cover up the shame
I try so hard to ease the rage
that imprisons you in a 16 oz cage
But it's hard to "be good" all day
just to be sure you get your way
I cry because it hurts inside
you find me where ever I hide
But YOU always want to be left alone
you bury your heart so it won't be shown
While I'm the one who's left to wait
for you to decide to let go of the hate
But when good times see their way through
is when I think i can't live with out you
All the bad feelings are pushed away
to try to start a brand new day
Maybe once you will be with out doubt
so you won't have a reason to shout
I want to be rid of this fear inside
it won't go away, even when I close my eyes

God's Question

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you
I planned your future, all you would do.
I gave you a mind, a heart, a soul
I sent My only Son to console all your woes.
I gave you a place to call home,
this beautiful world you may freely roam.
I give you all you need to get by,
yet you do not understand why I cry.
Do you feel My love in the summer's breeze?
Can you hear My voice in the whispering trees?
Have you seen My glory in the morning sun's rays?
Why do you curse Me on your loneliest days?
Is it My fault you strayed from My word?
It's still in the bible, haven't you heard?
May peace and love be with you today,
but if there comes a point when you must say
God I am lonely and feeling so blue
look straight to heaven and remember I love you.
