All I Have Is Time

Through chasms of dust and flame Wrought by thunder, fire, rain There be I; the observer.
Throughout the ages, countless names they did prescribe; The harvester, the one who guides, a prince, time.
And my task, like the sun, endless, treacherous, divine.
A tricky business this thing called love Trickier still if left untended, like grass under the snow.
But she was beautiful, more so to me, in my longing could not interfere in mortal fate.
Alas, I only observe, collect, clean slate.
I know not to where shall she in her eve transpire, all I do is guide But yes I shall wait, for all I have is time.

I Wrote a Song

I wrote a song
It had you name
I went up and down and swerved around
The tune came in and I sang out loud
Your name
Your smile in tune with my beating drum
I dint know but this was what they called love

By the Sycamore Tree

Beneath the valley, a story amasses
A long song of days of old
Of a lad and his lady
And their love so un-tamely and her eyes that sparkled of gold
She led him towards the sycamore tree where they pledged their love for eternity.
Little did he did know; to no one would she behold, for twas her time to go

There once was a blacksmith
A rundown old hag smith
Out of work with no place to go
He heard a tale of a maiden so fair and so the story goes
And so he did go to get her for a magic did possess her
Or so he thought would change his sorrow to gold

He begged and he pleaded but none of them she had heeded and said pray please do let me go.
For what you seek I have not, its folly that you've sought and a quest to ending road.

In his anger, he did smite her and as her life left her turned the old man to stone
Along came poor Romeo too late to save his love he knows,
Kneeling with this face in the dirt.
Saying lover o lover why must I suffer,
This curse of being alone
Lover o lover never will I love another
And the warmth of his heart began to slowly cold
But before he had spoken her eyes surely did open
For deep magic in her grew
and smite him she did
mistaking him for him,
for no love in his heart for her could be found.

Lover

It was cold as he reached the lonely steadfast cliff, the end of winter the dawn of spring
There before him lay a structure of great wonder
A splendid tower made of white, crimson inlaid with gold and silver
A lighthouse in need of a fixer for in the distance a storm grew closer
And on and on he went toiling in the darkness
For no light had been found in that lonely tower
Until one day with a stroke of luck
He did fix her
A fire once more grew in her
Forever and, at last, he heard the word 'lover'.

Ocean, River

She moves in rhythm
Speaks symphony
Such wonder such beauty
Deeper I reach the more the pleasure
And within her; life, treasure
Free like the wind
Ocean, river.

Box

The sound of the needle slowing ticking in its box of wood
Counting down an event which the world partook
Outside whilst singers sing and dancers danced
Frolicking in tune with their merry wine
Unknowing their fate seeking out the day break
The needle grows ever closer
But I sleep sound in my little box of wood

Sinner

A sinner aye i am
I drink i dine make merry eat swine
But you are off an higher order than i
In his name thou makest plunder
You dine with the rich and take from the pouper
Wage war, kill, slaughter

Moonlit Bay

Mountainous art thy depths.
Keeper of treasures and tears.
Solemn thy plight,
Ever moving in contempt.

Sway as i may,
In mind through time.
Whose memory i replay,
None gave sweeter bliss.
Standing alone still,
Breeze through hair.
into the moonlit bay.

Nona

Forgetting to forget, the sorrows of time
Amongst the trees watch the butterfly fly
Oh! to long for that which I have not
To not yield when all is distraught.

You wish to change fate
Whose path so intricate and yet so mundane
Like a river, it moves it swirls, angles and in the end, does stop
Invisible strings entwined as is Nona’s art
