Sleep No More

The one alive but asleep has awoken from his slumber.
To realize and understand the power behind thunder.
Where did it go and where did it sleep?
Can't tell, to far, and never keep.
Sent to understand why and how but in too deep.
It learned why and how and not to sleep.
Once alive and dreaming of what's to come.
Now silenced and dead to all and some.
He is back, and here, and now.
Welcome all for its time to vow.
Remember once then remember twice.
For the silence will be broken by the mice.
They will run and you will fall.
But they will come and stand up tall.
It waited late and it waited still.
Till you were finished and had your fill.
But now its back and mad as hell.
The real story begins now for all to tell.

The Common Day

We live today by the commonality of our virtues. Virtues are things we
seldom think about but use within every second of time on our focus of
life. The choices made from the moments we awake to even in our
dreams. Virtues are what give us the energy to continue life's
motions. I, as a common person, find myself facing new virtues
everyday. I find new virtues growing within my soul daily. To
understand what it takes to fulfill our daily lives with grace means
understanding ones inner self. The start of ones life gives us the
negative aspects, called birth, before we understand the world around
us. Like the parents before them our parents began to shelter and
enforce our dependency, thus shaping our virtues. The virtues begin to
form silently from the first time we focus on an object in this common
world.

A Narrowed Soul

Tonight I grow tired of keeping the secrets that were spark within my visions. I
must tell someone of what I saw and how the end came to be. From the
beginning we never understood how the human spirit came to be and the
common thread of existence that bounds us like a string of beads waiting to go
around the infinite loop of our universe. Changes have come and gone and yet
my memories do not change. I saw the beginning and I saw the end but yet I
live. Why? I remember seeing so many things. I felt the fabric of everyone I ever
knew intertwined within my every breath. It was like we were machines. As they
say we were someone’s eyes and ears to a world that was going to end. We
collected as much data as we could before the end. I am not sure if they know
how much data I retained from these ordeals. And maybe they know exactly and I
am here because of it still. But why? I was taken through worlds that made no
sense. Worlds that were chaotic with no remorse. I feared what I saw and
asked my almighty GOD to help me overcome. My children how I love them so.
My daughter she was with me in my journey. She is my life and what I believe
has helped me make sense of everything that has and is happening. Where am
I? Is this my world? Is this the world that has become or just another vision.
Someone’s idea of living. Who would do this to a man? I lost every connection
to my existence, who I thought were my friends and family were only decoys of
someone’s sentence. Why? What do they hope to gain? Am I lost in my mind?
Is what I thought to be my reality a dream or a memory, am I blind. Once I
remember what it felt like to live with no fear. To know that tomorrow you will get
up and everything would be as it was and still here. Unchanged and forgiving.
How these things have change me! How these things have narrowed my loving
soul. But I still hold the greatest love for my GOD. If it wasn't’t for his helping
hand reaching down and pulling me from the depths of the great beyond, I would
have never been able to tell you this story. We need to love life once again. We
need to go back to the basics my friend. Is it too late? Has the human race
dwindled to the point that we must visit our past to fix our future? The messages
are clear, listen closely and you will hear. Look even closer and you will see that
we must never lose site of what it means to live. This babble means nothing to
who ever reads it but for tonight it will help me sleep. Good night.

The Road Ahead

There once was a way that i knew so well
That when I walked it I never fell
But how dear to me was that old familiar road
there it was day after day as I carried my load
It took me there and it took me here
But it never told me how things were clear
That it loved me back when I was near
It took me to places far and in between
To fantasy and fairy lands none else could have seen
This road grew up with me and let me choose my course
Whether it be right or wrong it knew my source
It knew I would choose right for it had known me
No twist and turns just straight ahead I could see.
I reached the end of the road where I waved goodbye.
Reaching my home with a smile and a sigh.

I Took a Picture

I took a picture once as a thought of love and compassion
It showed me things that I couldn't hold, touch or imagine
Such details such care that GOD put into this air we all share
And when I was there old friends I did see for they too would stare
At the glory of beauty we all can have as a dare, can we believe
The love and emotion I felt when I look at this picture was received
For you to enjoy you must let go and go the distance
Truly open the mind and feel your existence
For that picture captured you at your best and kept a second of your essence
For others to love, feel and see when they think of the past or the present
Remember my words they will ring true
The next time you look at a picture, you will see things anew

Alive

To be alive what pleasures do we have?
In time life will be great. To wait we have been forgiven.
Do not turn away from all that makes you what you are.
Then you shall be gifted. But to see with eyes of stone is no better.
Ask, what is happiness?
No answers at hand but only answers that make no difference.
Life is great but we still live in misery.
We give up on many things without the thought of coming together again.
Life is no fool. why are we so confused?
Look within yourself.
Do not deny what you find for this is your essences.
If you do you will never be complete.
Absorb what it offers and you will be one.
Remember your past but do not live in it,
For it only offers things chosen to be forgotten.
Cannot challenge your mind for you will be lost.
It controls more then you know.join it.
Seek what it needs and accept the vision it instills upon you.
Learn what life offers you. let it teach you the way to peace.

How I Miss It So

I walked on the line that one faithful day.
Wondering what had happened that I must pay.
I caught a glimpse of the one beyond the clouds.
He said hear me, bow down and worship now.
I fell to my knees as fast as I could.
Not questioning the authority since I
understood. Where I was going became so clear
that my heart was full of cheer. Wait I knew
then what this was now and after. Since the joy
and love I felt was from the master. The o
mighty GOD himself touched my hand
to make me feel better. I changed as a
bead of dew on a warm flower in a summer field.
The warmth of love and joy, a burst of
energy that can't be yield. I became one with
all and all as one joining the light. No longer
did I fear, hate, cry, or lie,I was filled with
all of GOD's might. Now the line I see once
more and my eyes are opened to see again.
What life was meant to be and will be at the end.

The Worlds

The worlds collide and desperate seek
To devour the mild and shame the meek
This world has changed a new once more
To hold the ones that will save the poor
They will come swift they will come fast
To finish what the started till the last
Be ready now for today is the day
For everything rides on who will pay
Give up first and don't delay
The strong ones won't survive if you stay
One of them but made to keep
The story fresh for all too deep
A perfect match will always end
Today the sorrow begins to mend
