What a Beautiful Dream

The miles of white line layout ahead in front of me,
Where it goes nobody knows.
It has no beginning, and has no end, There is freedom up ahead, or so I'm told.

With my eyes affixed ahead, and my foot to the floor,I fly headlong into the distance.
Where the future tells me lies, and the past offers no resistance.

I see the lights of the city, a beautiful Mirage shining in the sunset.
But the more I want it, the faster I go, no comfort shall I find, and no closer does it get.

The mountains rise high out of the desert floor, like a majestic castle of old.
They stand quiet and alone for all time, neither being bought or sold.

Time has worn away at them, and soon they will flow away to the sea.
For they will never be remembered, just a long forgotten memory.

With no family and friends left to be found, everybody just disappears into the dust.
Everything I have just fades into the sunset, the life I have I no longer lust.

What my friends fail to see, and my dearest love does not understand,That my heart feels so empty, like a lonely shell lying upon the shifting sands.

I speak truth to every body I see, but lies to myself are all I am worth,
The greatest lie that has ever been told, started on the day of my birth.

Tragedy In Black

Tragedy in black

My vision has turned black,
All I have is no more.
Turn out the lights,
And close the door.

My obsession has left me,
Lifeless on the floor.
Blood flows from my veins,
I long to live no more.

Jealousy requires passion.
Passion requires life.
Life requires the soul.
My soul at the end of a knife.

Nothin Man

Give me your time,
I'll tell you what to say.
The end of the road is near.
better future today.

 I'm your nothing man,
 emptiness just for you.
Cause I'm your nothing man,
All my lies are true.

I don't sell anything,
I'll give you even less.
Don't you forget,
Just a fear of the dawn,
nothing but regret.

I'm your nothin man.
Its not in my hand.
cause I'm your nothin man,
I'll take your life away.

You'll inheritance the wind,
Just because I'm near.
Pretty words that I say,
that's all you'll hear.

I'm your nothin man.
Bring you nothin but the pain.
cause I'm your nothin man,
I make the sun shine through the rain.

Now I must go.
Try to find what I say.
 maybe the truth,
 might be a lie,
Doesn't matter either way.

I'm your nothin man,
Leaving you in decline.
Cause I'm your nothin man,
All that you have is mine.

Our Love

while we spend all our time, looking for everything to be just right,
we let Our love pass us by,
 like ships in the night.

The perfect time waiting for the perfect season,
Our love doesn't have the best rhyme or the best reason.

Hope gives us all we need,
Faith gives us time to believe,
So Dreams can water the seed,
Of Our love that lives inside you and me.

As time goes by and we get older together,
our lives settle into our own little routine.
We take for granted, Our love.
how good we use to make each other feel, all the wonderful time's we have seen.

Hope gives us all we need,
Faith gives us time to believe,
So Dreams can water the seed,
Of Our love that lives inside you and me.

So let these words I feel,
Fall upon the angel that fell into my dreams,
To let her know,
what Our love, means to me.

Bitter Sweet Dreams

Bitter sweet dreams

As life turns another page,
the Sun rises over the hill.
the life she built around him,
Has now become a bitter pill.

Never home to be alone with her,
Loneliness she knows all to well.
All the pretty gifts he gives to her,
Home is now her prison cell.

She reaches for another,
maybe it will be different this time.
Both never truly understand,
the thoughts that rolling through in her mind.

Everyday she wakes to find,
 an emptiness deep inside.
 fighting a new heartache,
feelings she had for him, now have died.

Love for one blessed by God,
The other a mortal sin.
One feeds the body and her soul,
the other is there to calm,
the demons that lye within.

The romantic love she felt as a child,
she would ever see the day.
Longing to be held by them,
needing them both in different ways.

To one she gives her body to,
to give her what she needs.
The other she gave her heart,
To do with as he please.

One man to strike her body,
the other to bruise her heart.
pains she can endure,
 but never torn apart.

The bruises left upon her body,
will disappear by the day.
but the pain inflicted on her heart,
remains with her today.

The pain she allows to herself,
eases the pain that Lye within.
Trying hard to divide her time,
Tween love and pain,
a lover and a friend.

Now she's all alone, both up and gone away.
One by choice, one by the hand of death,
Both still live in her heart today,
Neither one she will forget.
