Why...Jenny?

the sun plays hide and seek with the clouds
sometimes it shines with full brightness then
like a lightbulb that has expired
loses it's brilliance...
insects, create their own brand of music
click...click...click...
all around is quiteness-
you can even hear your own breathing.
the day is almost over
the sun is getting tired with it's plays,
starting to set...saying goodbye
and suddenly-
your shadow exist behind me
white and black-like a smoke.
it is not easy to get rid of the pains.
inoperable.incurable.
seems destined to stay.
i lost my jenny...
WHY...JENNY?

Nostalgia

Stillness filled the place
Only the muted shuffle of my slippers
interupted the heavy silence.
The sights, the sounds and the home
battered at my memory, echoed in my mind.
Their faces and smiles
reflected in the mirror of my brain.
As I stood at the window,
the sight of the pastel blooming flower
in the park made me open the pane.
I heard chirping birds-
that pleasantly stilled my inner turmoil
And disrupted the silence.
An urge hit me to go out
And absorb the blessings that were beginning
to melt my loneliness...
I missed my family back home.
Indeed, there's no place like home.

Lovers

Love and romance wrapped them
She could hear the beating of his heart,
Memories cascaded through their minds
It seems like old times again;
Staring at the fiery horizon-
Apparantly transfixed...
Mesmerized by the magnificent scene
Looking into his dark and mysterious eyes
A moments of silence followed-
Love was on the air.
The fire exists...
Yet still, the feelings are mutual
Time and distance-
Dare not to extinguish,engulfed them.
Music played in their hearts,
It was going to be FOREVER.
