Breathing

I wrote about love like I knew it,
But with time my love has abandoned me.
Left cold and unappreciated, I still claim to
Know the words I wrote were true.
Love given but not received is still love indeed, but
Loving another does not make them love you.
Still, I experienced the pains, the blessings and
The bliss love brings. But to love,
And to be in love are two separate things completely.
Like breathing was easy.

The Dance of Wounds

A pecuilar thing it is to feel another's pains.
Around, about and In
we'll dance until were gone.
Through minutes and weeks
we can find happiness for a moment.
Sadness alone seems less bearable,
but with you I have learned to bear it.
Together in our dance of wounds
 I'll be okay with you.

Hidden, But Not Secret

The sweet sound of a warm fire and the embrace from a blanket of stars opens your eyes. Motionless, but moving in every way is the feeling. A howl in the distance and cool breezes coming and going leave the tree's whistling. Thoughts are not allowed, only experience. Feint sounds of victory are heard as the winged, god-like creatures disappear. Few will come and stay, but many will go on day to day with no knowledge of the mere existence.

My Heart

There you laid with your hand on the blade.
World crashing all around me, what is life without you?
In that moment I felt the pain, every memory
cut deep as it ran through my veins.

Two kids, distant lives but one heart.
I loved you from the start, and now as
my heart watched you fade, I knew
my life would never be the same.

A love that has only grown.
Innocent kids to passionate adults.
Stay with me forever and
I promise to never leave you.

Life without you would be no life at all.
I need you here, please stay and love me some more.

Beginnings

When the blinding shades find themselves fading away,
And the world has seen the disgust within itself.
Then will be your time.
Your time to come forward.
A life without living, a heart without loving is what they see
Show them what you were made to be, what we were made to see
In you, we will all find a deeper love, a truer meaning and a fresh beginning.
We need a new beginning.

Love Lost

A memory cannot always be enough,
but a goodbye wouldn't help.
To look into the deep pools on your face
once more would be a shatter to my heart.
How to move on is no simple question
somehow, carefully, time mends the wound.
But it can only glue the broken pieces not restore.
Broken love is real as I now choose
to still love what is no more.
