Beneath the Night Sky

Here I lie
Gazing at the stars
Thinking of all the lies and
Feeling locked behind bars

I am all alone
Gaurded by the stars
Feeling my bones ache
As I remember all the scars

My heart begins to race and
I really feel like I should just stand up and pace
For I can't stand thinking about you
You,the one who used to be by my side

Distant memories;
Days of glory
Days of untamed love
Above all

As I remember how much you loved the night
And its dimmed light
...After that...
I just can't stop thinking about you,about us
                   But
All I can do is wish upon a bright unshooting star
Which I hope its brightness shall bring light in our lives
And put an end to the scars.
