Depression is my secret
It changes yourself for the worst
It makes you cry, cry all night
It makes you feel numb, oh god so numb
But, because of this thing
This thing called "depression"
It made me earn my stripes
Because I am a goddamn tiger, who has earned her stripes for life

Never good enough, never will be

It makes you feel alive, but then it
Destroys you from the inside out
When that feeling is gone,
And all you feel is,
Hate, hate
But the only thing that can drive out hate is, love
Maybe love will be my light, instead of my darkness one day
