Beauty Beyond Darkness

I closed my eyes
And there’s nothing
 I could see but darkness

I closed my eyes
And there’s nothing 
I could hear but sounds
The footsteps, 
The breeze of the wind,
The breathing,
The crashes of leaves
The sways of the tree
The people chatters and laughter
The horns and beeps of vehicles
The chirps of the birds

I closed my eyes
And there’s nothing I could visualize
But beauty beyond darkness
A simple and beautiful world
A life with unending happiness and appreciation

I closed my eyes
And these all I’ve felt
A freedom to live
A privacy to have
And a peaceful life


I closed my eyes
And I smelled the reality
Of having no capability to see
And when I opened my eyes 
I knew there’s the light
But I wondered
“How come the light hadn’t exists to us- 
Who has the ability to sight?” 

Again, I closed my eyes
To live in the world of fantasy
And to escape the reality
To rest for a while
As I think deeper and sigh

I had closed my eyes
And I had realized
Darkness has its own beauty
Individuals’ adore and cherish to see …
