Alexander Seal Poem
The cold night is awoken and warmed
A family of excitement ready to release their arsenal
Stored under the stairs until the big night
Let the show begin:
Traffic lights – whoosh colour changing
Rockets – whoosh bang screeching
Jack in the box – whoosh bang-jumping
Sparklers – whoosh fizzle-sparkling
Catherine Wheel – whoosh dizzy-spinning
The big one at the end

The shy monster deep in Loch Ness
Looks great and dresses to impress
But when fashion designer start arriving
She feels silly and decides upon hiding

Alexander Seal Poem
Death was dreaded.
Rehearsed.
Experienced.
Dreaded more.
Being told,
Silence.
Empty.
Frozen.
Death.
The day arrived.
Surreal.
Nothing.
The bond was broken,
The memories ended,
There was grey nothing.
Silence.
Silence.
For me:
Shock,
Nuisances,
Sadness.
For her:
Beauty,
Peace,
Rest.
Two sides of death.
In memory of my mother

Alexander Seal Poem
I watch the clock
All night and all day
Watching the seconds
Tick-tocking away

Alexander Seal Poem
Im a dot,
A small black powerful dot,
I can spoil a celebrity autograph
I make void a bank cheque signature
I can spoil a sentence, a tiny story:
“A man walked along the. road”
With my friends, we make something mysterious:
“then the door closed………………….”
I highjack a comma
;
I meet up with another dot
:
I question myself with a scimitar shape
?
We dots, team up with our friends, the dashes to make the well known Morse code
. - .. - - .

Alexander Seal Poem
A few beams of sunshine with a draft of cooling air
Peckish taste for flavorsome things
A tune flying through your mind like a swift on the wing
Easily provoked laughter: childish, but clever
Everything and nothing to do, with no order in which to do them
Reminiscence of past great days and events
Enough company there for the day
A reassuring relax which reminds that all is clear for now

Alexander Seal Poem
An energetic farmer called Murray
Had a struggle to clean out the slurry
The pipe would block
By a big stone or a small rock
That’s why he was always in a hurry

Alexander Seal Poem
Bent tune
Fast, slow then slow,
Excessive and dull notes
Vibraphone dings and pings to beat
Irritable
Jazz tune

Alexander Seal Poem
Light work?
Give to granddad
The bits drawer will help him
Tape, screws, raw plugs, string, pins and bits
If no cure, use black tape
Strap it down hard
All done!

Alexander Seal Poem
Wide wings with dark fingery tips
Fan tail of duplicate feathers
From beneath: a small white bird, wearing a glamorous white-grey-brown coat
A black moon sits in the middle of staring round yellow eyes
It descends – gliding down towards the still lake
Its claws are moved in front, when its reflection can be seen more clearly
A tidy belly flop landing on the lake breaks the majesty of its descent
Wide wings flap, in almost slow motion, as it struggles to regain flight
Astute wrestles with the underwater
Two final flaps takes it to air
Struggling was not in vain
An obese salmon twitches as it is carried across the lake – virtually at death
A thick black talon in the chest of the fish, causes its death and its disablement
Rewarded
Emotionless
Professional
