Heaven Knows

“Heaven Knows”
Heaven hears the joy and knows the sound of pain.
Heaven gives its recompense and sends it down in rain.
The sky obeys this notion and holds the clouds in its sphere.
Swimming in the air, the clouds stir and waver from pier to pier.
Heaven hears our prayers and keep them in jars as light.
When gathered up they are placed in the sky and shines as stars at night.
Knowing this the moon in gratitude obeys and takes a stand
by giving all its shine to the dark so to share in this glorious band.
Heaven knows our sorrows and holds them deep in the earth.
Until soften enough to take place in the earth's yearly rebirth.
Knowing this Mother Nature burst into attention each spring
Reminding us of God's promises while housing the birds that sing.
Heaven knows the kind of suffering that lives in the world.
Heaven forms a weapon of innocence in every little boy and girl.
Knowing this the authority of God is placed on us all.
Giving shelter to the spirit so as not to crack or fall.

I Exist

I Exist
Who am I today I can't say.
My Father was a man that meant what he would say.
My mother was a woman that did as she say.
Yet sometimes I can't choose from yah or nah.
Who is the person I strive to be?
I don't feel my father's strength in me.
I don't have my mother's pure wit in me.
But my Father God surely made me.
I thought and thought and came up with this:
I am what my father put in a wish
I am what my mother called bliss
and out of God's imagination I EXIST!

Art

Art
When and if you walk into an art show and don't understand the art doesn't mean the arts not there, it just means you don't understand it Yet and still you know that the things you see are unique in there difference.
You don't know the artist or understand the work of art but you respect that you are among art, and because of that you are ,at least, respectful of the creation that took place. After all the artist considers their work as a master piece.Just because you don't get it or understand it doesn't stop you from taking time to look at it; acknowledge it and respect that it's there. You might think it's ugly. You might think it looks crazy but you look at it at least and acknowledge that it was created and put in a place to be seen. The artist wants only for you to see and appreciate their creativity. The artist wants to share with you a piece of their imagination. It's not a matter of making any sense of it,,,,just acknowledgement and respect.A true love of art can grow from this one step. That's it. Not a lot to ask for. Consider God an artist! The next time you see someone that looks different or just don't seem to fit into your idea of what someone should look like doesn't mean that the time and patience and consideration didn't take place when they were created. We are all pondered upon. Crafted in deep concentration and pulled straight out of our creator's imagination. At least acknowledge and respect his work. Who knows..that particular piece of art might grow on you! God

“God”
You are:
Dweller in my home
Strengthener in my bones
The shine in the sun
The priest and the nun
What awakens each day
The guider; the way
     Light in the spirit
Omnipotent; without limit
The beginning and the end
The truest of friends
The giver of life
The husband and the wife
     Counselor of my soul
The creator that molds
The shine in a smile
The fashion; the style
Embodiment of love
All around and above
The truth that sustains
The meaning of my name
The power of faith
What keeps me safe
The staff and the rod
You are all. God!

Promises

“Promises”
If you be the song
I’ll be the dance.
A love can be born
If given the chance.
If you be the river
I’ll be the sea.
That way, my love,
You run into me.
If I be the windows
You be the doors;
A house built on love
Is a home that endures.
If I make you a promise
to give this a try,
will you make me a promise,
to never ever lie?
If I give you my all
Will you in turn do the same?
For this is my heart;
this is not a game.
For the promises I make
are promises I keep.
I’m offering my very best
So, the very best I seek.

Hello, Goodbye

''Hello, Goodbye''

More to come
Less Imma take
Sure to go
Sure to go
Away from the life of limp
Taking off, won’t hesitate
Quick you know
Quick you know
Don’t take the mind of me
I’m no longer meant to wait
Going on now
Going on now
You slow, move to the side
I got moves to make
Don’t slow me down
Don’t slow me down
We ain’t friends we ain’t foes
Passabyers in the mist
Hello, goodbye
Hello, goodbye
If you can’t give what I give;
denying reciprocity, then I insist
Fly right on by
Fly right on by
