My Phone

Don't play with your phone, they say
Why not? I  say
My phone, oh so precious, 
My phone is my friend?
Don't you know
What comfort it gives,
When I hold it in my hand, 
The comfort, words withstanding, 
It's better than holding my lover's hand!
Better still, it does not disappoint, 
Nor madden me or sadden me,
Instead it gives me such comfort, 
That nothing can compare! 
I t  keeps me entertained all day, 
It sings me love songs as I may,
With itI'm never lonely, 
In all that cacaphony.
Now tell me not to play with my phone, 
I'm telling U, don't mess with my phone!
