Her Eyes

Her body stands proud and tall able to withstand all, but her eyes say that she has
already taken the fall, she has began to crawl and gasp for that final gulp of air to
support her already deprived body. Her eyes speak the TRUTH, the awful and corrupt way she is to live her life makes it seem as if she is ready to burst with potential, but
her eyes say that she thinks she is just a morsel, a speck , a grain of sand on the earths surface.she thinks that her existence is futile. Well you know what she, you and I all of us matter. I do have to apologize for being so very far away, however think of it this way. The Apollo eleven space craft flew 2380.9 miles to the moon but the earth was still their world. But her heart hurts obscure way of thinking of pain I know but her eyes still speak louder then she could imagine. Her eyes are yours and mine, her eyes scream in exemplary moods sadness, depression, happy. Her eyes are a two sided mirror that try's to fit the mood of the viewer. Her mood is oppressed and the way to success she is told is to repress her beliefs and what she loves. I don't think so. Thank you for being my world.

Marked Up Hands

There is beauty in these marked up hands. Once we loved now we stand across from one another not knowing where to stop. The love we once had now is lost. I look at you a complete stranger I worry once more am i in danger of falling for your tricks once again. But then I remember the beauty in the marked up hands, hands that held me hands that fed me hands that made me the man I'm supposed to be. There may be beauty in the marked up hands but the love that we once had is now a shadow in the background of this stand off holding on to twine of our souls. I look back towards you and realize there is no longer beauty within your marked up hands. Only hatred, only anger, only pain and displeasure. Your hands may be marked for life but your heart has changed old man. I fear for the day I truly lose you without the realization that you have already gone.
