The Lone Believer

The Lone Believer-
I am a diary, many people confide in me.
Since ages I have proved to be one of man's best companions.
I am unique in my own way!
Don't you all agree with my opinion?

My pages create history.
Once, there was Anne Frank's diary
Now there's me;
Tomorrow, there will be someone else's diary!

I tell a tale of my own,
My dog-eared brown pages seek attention in it's own way.
All the little titbits of every single day;
Make it's way, to my pages that play.

Don't your all share your deepest secrets with me only?

Men will be born,
They will surrender to the nature's feet,
But, I will tell my tale;
Nevertheless of my writer's absence
And I will continue to survive;
I will try to re-live the moments of the forgotten days

But, alas! human beings are fools,
They don't even want to know what i know;
They are not so privileged as I am indeed;
Because men can never die!

Their memories, their actions are eternal.
And, I  know that,
I know that well.
I bear them, those memories, those actions.

I am the symbol of eternity
I am the lone believer of immortality.
Long live me! long live men!

Two Names

Two Names-

Sometimes it's all what one needs.
Support and trust.

In my case, they were two names
Two milestones of my life.
Two, who completely changed my life.

I don't know what would have happened,
If I had'nt met them;
But, that's what destiny is.
There, is always sun beneath the clouds.
Light behind darkness.
Knowledge beneath ignorance.

In my case they were two names
Those two who nurtured me,
And trimmed me up to the right shape.
Those two, who always make me happy.
Be it in whatever condition.

They were there
They are there
They will be there.

A smile on their face feels
Like a hundred blessings to me.
Their dreams fill my night's sleep.

In my case, they were two names.
Two, who made me change,
Two, who made me sane,
Two, who stole my heart.

In my case, they were two names.
Obstacles faced, milestones reached;
I know, that one day ages beneath,
I will sigh,
I will think.

In my case, they were two names
Two, who completely changed my life as it is.

The Portrait

The portrait hangs on the wall
Trying to convey a thousand tales
Unfortunate are we,unable
To decode its powerful will.

The portrait hangs on the wall
A mixture of splendid hues
A witness to endless incidents
Yet glorious in its graceful silence!

The portrait hangs on the wall
A symbol of deep patience
Intentionally unaware of its alarming grandeur
Subject to the deceptive pangs of jealousy!

While the room exerts its own importance
The wall is clear in its perception
One says the portrait is mine
The other is busy to lie!

The portrait hangs on the wall
Busy displaying its beauty to the world
Alas! a fool it is
To allow its own mockery!

If You Look For Me

If you look for me
If you seek for me
Your eyes in mine
And the sun glows eloquently outside
If you falter a little
If your gaze fades a bit
And your desire gets unleashed,
Well out of control
If you fear rejection
You can be assured, reassured
When the sun shines and feelings chime
When the world seems distant and unearthly
You can still be solemn,calm
And try,try to delve deep.
More deep into your soul
If you still find me, static and sure
If you still feel me,raw and real
If you still dare to proceed
Dare to lose your ordered peace
And your well-tutored resilience
Then come to me complete, whole
Colorless and facade-less, pure!

My Dreamland

I saw a weird dream
A dream within a dream
Full of roses and lilies
There was a garden
And a distant waterfall
Complete with a crimson sky
Made my dreamland breath-taking
Pigeons were in galore
Little rabbits scurried about here and there
Yet in this world
Beautiful with all kinds of magnificence
It's the devil who spoils the deal
And my dream was no exception
There was a cruel giant
He destroyed the garden of eternity
And hence proved a point
He was the ruler of my dreamland
My sleep concluded
The line separating my dreamland
And this substantial world
Seemed way too thin!
