Lawyer

When the world seems at its end and the righteous ones have begun to bend, when injustice is now considered just and there is no one to trust, when the police force becomes knavish and criminals are at the apex of power and there seems to be no one to turn to, when Doctors kill for money and politicians begin to deceive, when the society it’s at its worst and not a day passes without injustice, when the body is sold for money and money becomes the reason for existence, when children conceive babies and adults end lives, when the ambassadors of poverty have their heads abroad and anus at home, then will it occur that lawyers remain lawyers , then will it occur that humans still exist, only then it would be clear that lawyers aren’t liars, only then would it be clear that lawyers can set this society straight, lawyers can put the powerful ambassadors of poverty to justice, lawyers can accrue honesty from knavishness, lawyers can remove just from unjust, lawyers can remove classlessness from class, lawyers can create a kind of classless society even Karl marx never dreamt of, after all, the pen, they say is mightier than the sword.

Never Give Up

s I walked across the streets
I couldn't help but notice the ruins
They were so bad i could hardly breathe
And were as hard as a bedrock
I noticed all this
But I still kept walking

As I swam beneath the rivers
I couldn't help but discover the wreckage
Remains of men, children even divas
It was like hell's appendage
I discovered all this
But still kept swimming

As I flew across the skies
I heard the cries of those above
Telling me How They failed after so many tries
With their minds as clean as a dove
I heard all this
But still kept flying

I missed the rapture
But never lost hope
After all am still God's creature
And I missed it with a pope
I knew all this
But I kept moving

I stopped to rest but fell asleep
And I saw haters in my dream
Thinking I would quit my trip
Ill prove them wrong as if it were a film
I knew all this
But I struggled on

And finally I reached my destination
After walking, swimming and flying
Like every other creation
Who never stopped trying
I finally made it
Because I never GAVE UP.

The Dream

pondered in the realm of a trance, just after I set my eyes on her
I was going blind so I tried not looking at her for too long as if she were the sun
but I saw her like the sun even without looking
She was an epitome of everything
They call it love at first sight, but I already loved her even without seeing
And I still loved her after looking
It was like I just saw Aphrodite the goddess of beauty
But then I realised Aphrodite was nothing compared to her
She was not created on the 6th day alone, she took a day extra
And then I woke up, breakfast was ready
It was all a dream.

Keep Moving

when things go wrong as they sometimes do
and you feel life is cheating on you
when the tables turn all of a sudden
and leaves you with a lot of burdens
you may get a rest
but never do quit.

when things go wrong as they sometimes do
remember those who never felt right
when you feel life is cheating on you
what about those who are not alive
you may get a rest
but never do quit.

the times you feel you dint get enough
think about those who dint get at all
or when you aren't comfortable enough
what about those who never felt comfort
you may get a rest
but never do quit.

when you feel life is cheating on you
and you don't always get what you want
what about those who were caught in bomb blasts
and their families are left unkempt
you may get a rest
but never do quit.

when you are about to give up
think about tthose who never had the chance to try
wwhen you look at how long you have to go
did you ever imagine how far you've come
you may get a rest
but never do quit.

wwhen you are about giving up on life
take a moment and feel the grief of 9 months wwith your mother
and if by then you still want to give up
tthen probably you shouldn't have come
the pace may be slow at first
but never do give up.

if you ever think about giving up
iisn't that giving haters what they want
How about yyou take a big step
and prove them all wrong
you can get a rest
but never do give up.

Evolution

We had lived perfectly and sin free until Satan influenced eve and the fruitfulness of this world turned sour.
We had lived endlessly and did not know death until cain killed abel and the plant of life died.
We had lived in peace in our cities until sodom burnt and gomorah fell and the sculptures of life turned into ashes.
We had lived in harmony with our brothers until Joseph was sold out and water became thicker than blood.
We all thought we could give up on anything until the trial of Job and the event of jonah.
We all thought we had trusted followers until 30 pieces of silver turned iscariot to a Judas and the bond of friendship shattered.
We all thought we were equal until moses divided the sea and peoples's faces turned red.
We all thought we could do whatever we liked until noah built an ark and sinners witnessed what they dint like.
We all thought we would die in hardship until suratul inshirah was revealed and relief came after hardship.

Growth

Out of dust we were made
Men, in the best form
And in the womb we were laid
The womb of whom we all call mom

After nine months, we arrive
Unto this unruly world
Forward we all aim to drive
As destined by the omnipresent God

And like trees we grow
Towards the light
And like oceans it flows
The blood that gives the body its might

At teenage age, we begin to struggle
To make the future better
At any slight reprimand, we grumble
Even though it is to get our lives together

Emotions begin to spring
Emotions different from that of blood
The feeling of love and hatred that emotions bring
Drops on us with a thud

We progress to adulthood
Burdened with bigger responsibilities
Activities that alter our mood
We work with larger capacity

We become parents of our own
Family is all we think of
Waiting on our children to get grown
After we've catered for them enough

At one stage we become children again
The stage we become old
Depending on our procreations to ease our pain
Because we are no longer bold

And finally we die
And to dust we return
The scriptures do not lie
And for the evil doers in hell they shall burn.
