Lone Traveler

Lone traveler

A journey that only once last,
From birth to death a unique cast.

We cross million milestone on our way,
Sometimes with purpose, or to escape our dismay.

For so many faces, we come through;
Some memories or experience that just outgrew.

But even though with a lot around;
A traveler is still alone, world ward bound.

Because for all we may face or suffer,
Its ourselves who learn, or may makes us tougher.

Nature’s beauty, God’s creation,
Human sarcasm, a routine visualization.

None left forbidden with this irony of life,
Every now and then, may discover that nostalgic vibe.

Scrutiny of his journey, accomplished by himself,
Inference drawn, enforced on oneself.

Life is a journey, as they may say;
Between truth and lies, the traveler sways.

Time comes when high road is taken,
Time comes when its dealt low.

People may vary with ups and down,
But on genuine path, a traveler is lone.

None phases of life left spared,
For we may believe on that, “one” handler,
Miles to go, long road to cover,
By, ‘us’ the, “lone traveler”.

Devil Among Us Or Just Many Faces

DEVIL AMONG US or just MANY FACES

Hebrew described Satan as adversary,
Not a sole individual that you should worry.
But they walk among us.
They talk among us.
Never noticed? I doubt it;
As they drop their despicable bomb among us.
Never faced one? It’s skeptical,
Check out the mirror; they born among us.

In our era, it's people with many faces preying on disgust.
Let you out to dry scathe or rust.
A face that you thought you can trust upon,
Turned out to be loathsome with a prosaic face on.
Nowadays Satan suits up to a comic character.
You don't know what cynicism you come across at the end of your vector.
Nocuous it is, being credulous on your side,
don’t trust me? Try yourself as long as you can abide.

So what to do? Just wondering never resolves,
A face to develop a character to evolve.
Make your heart an invincible fortress,
Bearing plushy reflection, discreet your clouds of distress.
And every time the verdicts on you;
With a grin on face see if it comply, else eschew.
Just like everyone else around in demise,
Go on conceal your face, not even devil can recognize.

Pretty Face

Every time I see that pretty face
Blossoming the world around, like flower in a vase.
Those eyes sparkle defying the sunshine,
Suddenly the reflection on me and I’m not mine.

The smile that takes away all your attention,
A laugh that puts you in awe, that I don’t have to mention.
Keeps me wondering over god’s creative beauty,
You feel like protecting it, even if it’s not your duty.

Wish you could be a reason for smile,
Wish you could cherish her every once in a while.
Wish you could hold that moment and never let go,
Wish you witness it every day in a row.

When it’s in front of you, all words fell short,
Overwhelmed, startled, you get stuck! can’t say a lot.
Every time I see that pretty face, I tend to think;
What makes it so special, that you won’t even blink.

They say, “don’t get fooled over that pretty charm”,
Well until you are totally knocked over, what’s the harm?
The real pretty face holds a true pretty heart,
It’s a great loss, if you can’t differ fake and real apart.

It might be an illusion that overturns so many,
People do get tip over, that’s an apparent irony.
But all we wish is our gamble fits right our prediction,
The face we’ve fallen for turns out to be true, hearty contemplation.

Sometimes you stumble upon, sometimes get mesmerized,
I know what it’s like, every time you see that pretty face…… :-)

One Day, Someday

One day, I’ll get on a tide,

One day I’ll dive, one day I’ll fly.

One day I’ll cross that , mountain too high,

On which so many try, but few pass by.

No matter how roads will be rough,

No matter if path exists or not,

I’ll make my own, however tough ;

‘coz I've got only shot , don’t wanna waste it a lot.

For i fall every time , I’ll wear a scar,

On skin, on heart , I’ll bring myself to par,

That would remind me of people I’ve crossed ,

Of way I’ve passed, of things I’ve lost….

Doesn't matter I win or lose,

It’s my life I can let go, can’t tighten the hose,

For everything I do, everything I learn,

Something’s swept away and some just burned.

Failures ,“bothers” success makes proud,

Sometimes down to earth; sometimes on cloud,

It all adds up to my journey, for all I want is to live;

Some happiness to share, a joy to give.

Some may call it an attitude;

Some may say I’m ambitious.

For me, it’s kinda gratitude,

Gotta protect it, it’s precious.

Sometimes wonder over future, don’t ponder over past.

Hoping for best and “dreams” that won’t last.

Gotta few, “milestones” on my list,

Had to clear the view, just across the mist.

Hope I’ll have that ONE DAY,

Hope I’ll be there SOMEDAY……….

And You Ask Me Why I Write

AND YOU ASK ME WHY I WRITE?

And you ask me, why I write?
Maybe you don’t see the world,
As I see it’s not a blue pearl.
Maybe you don’t dream it,
Like I do, defying all odds across my wit.

Maybe you don’t fear the darkness,
As I feel, in spite of denying emptiness.
Lost in transaction can’t find myself anywhere,
Sometimes when I look up, no one’s beside nowhere.

Even you aren’t there, not that I expect!
Considering everyone a friend; their support I respect.
So I find myself taking time out among this chaotic charade,
I took a paper and penned down this drowsy poetic reward.

I just let loose, as I don’t pry,
Don’t worry! It’s not my thing to sit and cry,
You might be wondering why I’m so drowned in demise,
Knee-deep in saddening waves;
But at scenic view I see a sun rise.

I can play a variety of role,
Depending upon the fate I meet.
Trying to emulate;
 pace of time which I ought to beat.

Apart from all this,
All I ask for is redemption in the end.
Well life’s not that hard,
Since I got some people like you,
I can count upon and call a “great friend”.

Drunken Week Dreams

Yesterday I felt I was in the sky,
Never in my life I've been so high.

There's a party on rocks, stirred over morrow,
“some friends are gonna be there” frankly, it’s my glass they borrow.

It's Tuesday, jolt in mind! I'm the Tuesday-Saturday guy;
she said, “You seem so superstitious” Can't explain her why.

Poured the glass then he said "drinks are on me",
‘Bribe the guy break the jinx’, for them it's the key.

His motivation was on top gear, as he grinned me to drink,
they spoiled me gladly, as more glasses clink.

Gin or bourbon, next day she asked,
whatever you prefer I'm new, I basked.

Two shots and world circling around me instead of sun,
wobbling with courage went up to her, spoke like I'm the one.

Then it was Friday and I went totally off limits,
No can't say what happened, too fluster to admit.

Confessions of a non-alcoholic if I must say,
Swear I’m not gonna drink again to counter that mess again, no way!

Suddenly I’m awake, clock says it's 10,
Mind is wondering if it wasn't hangover, what was it then?

My buddy in standing next to me, coffee he offered,
With grin on face I mumbled, shaken not stirred :-p

Since You Said Stars

Since you said stars………

I wonder if you are looking up right now at the sky?
These stars always spellbound me I don't know why,
for this one, in my mind I had to go quite far.
But I had to; since you said stars...

Underneath a clear sky, among idle breeze,
Seems these stars, prevailing my moment to freeze.
I remember you suggesting me to pen down these stars,
to which I went contrary that my thoughts doesn't par.
While I’m staring at one, running words across my wit,
I'm thinking of you, wondering if you too could see it.

That bright one up the north seems to be leading,
though is so lone looks like it seek some heeding.
I seem to connect to it somehow,
No wonder it doesn't feel very lofty now.
This time I had to go quite far,
Coz you know; you said stars :-p

I gazed up n saw seven sparkling shiver,
So Googled it, they say it's Big dipper.
It has drawn my attention since childhood;
I perceive it as a family sticking together while they could.

Well obviously we are far too doomed to be like that,
but sometimes a small gesture seems fortunate, as small as a hug or pat.
This often takes me wandering too far,
but it's alright, you know, since you said stars.

Every night same stories, but it looks so contained.
Yet I had to finish this in one start, as my thoughts won't pertain.
Then there is among rest, brightest Leo constellation,
now I realize why this word has been my admiration.
I can go on for long, as there are numerous like these,
but I ought to make it worth reading for such a long piece.

Don't judge me and don't get me wrong.
Yeah sometimes I do get carried along.
Had to speculate over n over,
Coz for first time it has been a formidable task,
And I’m finally quite glad I went that far,
But u know I had to, since you said stars :)

Insomniac's Soliloquies

It’s 12 o clock in the night,
Thoughts twirling in my mind.
Found myself rambling on the deck and to my surprise;
Blissful breeze across my face cheering my faith to rise.

Persuading to stop trying to cling on each rein of life.
To stop worrying about the cliche and trifle rife. ‘Let it go’, she said, “like my flow”.
Uproar of wind buzzing around under moonlight's glow.

Felt like bespeaking me to live in the moment,
Go a little easy with life instead of chucking it lenient.
It's alright, they said, you are doing just fine.
Clear your mind, write a line or two that rhymes.

Can you recall, the first sight of dawn like yesterday?
Hope your aesthete's still alive today!
Look up they said, breathe as you get up,
Because you can't ever possibly give up.

I vowed with every single nerve that arose.
Knitting words to my reminiscence like prose.
Sworn to that blissful night;
Lo and behold, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride!
