Tortured Soul

You find comfort in the torture
Pleasure in the pain
Love within the evil
Love you'll never gain

For days on end you'll ponder
While holding in the rage
Your mind controlled, can't wander
You're a lion in a cage 

You play within the fire
The smoke gets in the way
Love is your desire
You just can't stay away 

Disappointment is no stranger
You see it everyday 
Somewhere within your anger 
You'll suck it up today 

There's nothing you can do
There's nothing you can say 
When the tortured becomes the torturer
There's nothing left to say
