A little silver ring
from a bubble gum machine
on my finger all this time
lets the world know you‘re still mine
fifty cents bought my heart
with kisses in the dark
the sun on my face
in a warm embrace
it’s a good life my love
happiness circles above
below and around us
sweet tenderness drowns us
whispers soft and low

The glowing moon is low and full….… countless stars shimmer in the ink dark night…and I sit my love and mourn for you

I talked to your daddy today,
he said felt he’d lost his way.
He said no one except me knew how he felt.
Through tears he said,
I know we got to go on but it’s so hard.
I whispered I know, I couldn’t said it better myself
I miss you so much - more than words can say
You’re on my mind and in my heart every day.
I go through the motions of life,
but I don’t know which way to go.
Where do I turn? You are gone,
I feel lost and alone!

Sometimes I think I am going crazy,
I look around sometimes its so hazy
and nothing looks the same
I don’t know where I should go,
Do I trust the ones I don’t know?
sometimes all I feel is the shame
Who are we to question why
who gets to live who gets to die?
Who we love and for why?
Love is a force that cant be stopped
Like the player’s feet who carried the man
that carried the ball that couldn’t be dropped
