Highway Dancer

I use to be so free,
my skies were once so blue.
The darkness of the highways,
the aching of my truth.
Here I'd wander, following my heart;
dreaming my fairy-tale.
It feels so real, so safe
then reality unveils.
I don't know what to do,
every minute of every day.
My heart screams to be free;
chased by the night, as its prey.
I’m done with running the chase,
 yet i walk a cloudy dream.
I run to nowhere as fast as i can,
and when i am there i run again.
It's more than words could ever say,
as my heart breaks in two.
A fire burns with in, a crashing dream
 in my eyes, a storm i always knew.
I'd come to you,
but the night is dark and stormy.
I'd  cry for you ,
but my direction is lost
My heart breathes your air
as time goes by.
My heart is desperate to succeed,
yet the beating slowly dies.
We ride the lonely coaster,
hearing the winds wicked cry.
Watching this perfect world quickly
passing by,
The image of tomorrow I try to grasp
and although I am found, I’ve lost my way;
somewhere on this worlds Broken train.
