My Best Friend

Together for eleven years 
We've been broken and shed some tears. 
We have both laughed and smiled and loved, 
And conquered all our doubts and fears. 

We've been growing up side up side;
I wonder why our lives collide.
My very best friend through and through, 
And this I have never denied.

Others will know it to be true 
With all my heart I do love you. 
I truly know that in the end 
We will stay together like glue.

You can always on me depend; 
I'll forever be there to mend. 
To help you to the final goal, 
Because you're my very best friend.
