Amy Howlett Poem
Just a simple smile
Its amazing what you can hide
Its so easy to pretend
With everyone so blind
Just a few small words
Its all so fake
Am I living in a nightmare?
Or am I awake?
Its hard to say
How I really feel
Is it a misunderstanding?
Or is it real?
Who to trust
Its hard to be sure
Who will care?
Im confused once more
Deep within the soul
The truth lies
Hidden from the world
Behind guarded eyes.

Amy Howlett Poem
I tried so hard....
I tried my best....
I gave my all....
and now there is nothing left!!
You stole my heart....
Then tore it in two....
Now I am falling apart
and dont know what to do.
Divided by decisions....
burned by the fire.
Confused by your words....
Tempted by desire....
Iam living in the present....
My mind in the past....
Not knowing what I will lose
Not knowing what will last
Blinded by fear....
Drowning in doubt.
Struggling to be free....
Looking for a way out!!

Amy Howlett Poem
Forever we remain oblivous to the future,
lost to the past and enduring our torture.
Forever we take chance to settle our scores,
losing some battles and winning some wars.
Forever praying out loud hoping someone will hear.
Forever crying softly but never shedding a tear.
Forever exists behind a diguise but the belif in
forever keeps our hearts alive.

Amy Howlett Poem
Eyes are windows to the most
hidden soul.
Two doorways to the mind. A way
to look into the black unknown, to secrets
we can not find.
A way to look into the heart of every person.
A way to see and understand every human need.
They lock onto thoughts too private, too unbearable
to explain. Deep drowning pools of sadness, when
someone caused you pain.
Like a magic mirror they show your ever longing dreams.
Like odd molds of clay, they express your feelings when
you want to scream.
So, if a person seems cruel or very fair, just look into
their eyes to see who they really are.
