Reality of War

By the riverside the dead echoes flow
By the riverside the yellow meadows stand fast
In the breeze of the wind the smell of death lingers
Not so far fires rage at the heart of the storm
Not so far liars cage the hearts of the lukewarm souls

Within the depths of heaven smoke rises
Within the depths of heaven the dead croak
Bellow the gates of heaven screams reach for help
In the streets of hell fires blaze
In the streets of hell death reins

Down the barrel of death they look
Down the peril of death they fall
Against the trigger the pressure rises
Screams of life don’t last long
Dreams of death yearn for life

The lights of heaven fade as the dead look for life
The gates of paradise close as the dead show violent dissension
The realm of the living worse than the fires of hell
Down he looks at his creations falling from grace
The legacy left behind left in trails of disappear

Hidden Truth

In the corner his face hides
Within the corner time he bides
The mask he wears a never ending burden
In the darkness everlasting pain idles
In the light false happiness piles

In the grounds they stay blind
In front of them he tries to find
Oblivious to the norms he walks
At the edge of the circle he hangs
At the walls that encase him he bangs

The deep void holding a hidden pain
In the darkness his eyes they rain
The ever changing definition of lonely
WHY?! He asks shouting to deaf ears
WHY?! He screams choking burdens he bears

The glow he saw from her beyond blinding
The light she emitted a sense of belonging
within the dark abyss light grew
An impossible task she does
On his face a smile protrudes
