No Name Poem
Scars on her wrists
They never to seem to fade
This will be how it is the rest of her days
A broken record,
Still trying to force its self to play
What kind of life is this
A smile on her face
But secrets hidden deep
If they knew their opinions would change
"She's crazy"
"She's a freak"
"Pathetic"
"Stupid"
All of those things they'd say
They'd wrap around her throat like a rope
Tugging and choking her life away
She stays hidden.
A record, broken but silent
Still trying to force its self to play
This will be how it is the rest of her days.
Unless she speaks.
How dare she speak?
Uttering those words.
To whom she speak?
To the people?
To the walls which upon she stares?
No one. No one is there to listen.
No one. No one is there to care.

No Name Poem
Help me
I can't breathe
Its like I'm drowning
In an icy cold, deep sea
It's like I'm screaming
But no matter how loud,
Nobody hears
It's like
It's like I'm put on mute
Like there's no sound
I feel like I'm perfectly bound
In a small box
Sealed up tight
Its as if I'm searching
To finally find a way out
To finally be free
To see all of those magnificent and amazing
Bright shining lights.

No Name Poem
Happiness,
Warmth
The perfect drink
On a rainy day.
Comfort,
Pleasure.
The drink they sip
As conversation is made,
As friendship is started.
Peaceful serenity,
New beginnings.
As the sunset of the day slowly sinks into the shadows of twilight
I rest my head against his chest and listen
Listen to the slow rhythm of his heartbeat.
Silence,
Grace.
His chest slowly rises and then falls again with each breath he takes
I look at him and I know,
He is the warmth and the comfort I need.
My cup of tea.

No Name Poem
A bright smile,
A dark heart.
An open book,
Full of dark secrets.
Happy on the outside,
Hollow under the skin.
Busy days,
Lonely nights.
It's good, Its great.
It never ends, its a tragic cycle.
Nobody notices,
I think they know.
Strong,
Falling apart.
I help others.
I need to be saved.
Is there something beneath, they wonder.
She worries, hoping things will stay hidden.
It all comes out in the open.
Will things get worse?
"You're stupid, you're pathetic"
"Why do I deserve this?"
Get over yourself, its for attention.
She can't take it anymore.
Stop pretending, everything's fine.
Giving up, can't handle life anymore.
She's really gone.
I'm gone.

No Name Poem
Three kids yet she's got none of them
Her mind is in a daze
She'll never ever change
A needle in her arm
And a strung out husband on the side
What kind of life is that?
She'll never ever change
Mama please,
We need you.
We need you but you don't need us
No, not anymore.
You say you love us,
Mama no need to lie.
You're gone.
You can't deny.
We see it in your eyes,
Emptiness.
She'll never ever change
One pill, two pill, three
How many will it take till she can't feel a thing?
Mama,
What did we do?
Are we that burden you can't shake?
Is that the reason why you do the things that you do?
